Yesterday I was listening to Century Ends on headphones at work. We have these great desks that raise and lower so when you get tired of chair dancing you can stand up and do some real dancing.

Anyway, I was listening to Shine with the volume maxed out and I was singing along - loudly lip-synching with lots of drama like I was performing on stage or something. I got to the part where you can turn the word "shine" into an eight-syllable word the way DG does. After that, I did a little waltz turn - no easy feat while wearing headphones - and there stood my boss. Arms crossed and wanting to know WHAT I was doing. I offered her the CD . She declined - her loss! Guess I'm going to have to stop playing air guitar and air drums at work too. And no more waltzing in my cubicle...

Anyone else here allowed to jam at work??

    Happy Friday everyone!

Too funny!  I only had one job where I could jam out at work.  I worked completely by myself in a doctor's office working with patient files.  I actually loved it because I could blast my music and dance around like a fool while typing surgery transcriptions and lining up the next day's patient files.  Every now and then a resident would show up without notice and I'd be embarrassed, but it was usually great.  That was the only time, though.  I can't even now staying at home because my kids won't let me!

Cute story ropreston!  I worked overtime yesterday, there were only a handful of people there.  I'm 5 feet tall, the cubicle walls are 6 feet tall - why not dance?  Busted again!  This time it was "Debauchery".  I love that little ditty - Music drunken ferry boat woman ...
