As we all usually hear David when we're shopping, eating in restaurants etc.. I thought I'd start this post.

I went to Dave's home town in March and heard Babylon in the pub next to his old house.  Sorry, but that's a well kept secret (except for the Greatest Hits tour fans  Wink

On Monday I heard Hospital Food in Toys R Us

When did you last hear the legend?

Last week as I pulled into the supermarket Babylon came on the radio so I listened to it finish - then when in the supermarket it came on the speakers in there.

I remember posting years ago on here a thread called Haunted by Babylon - One lunchtime I went into 2 different shops that were playing Babylon then I walked past a busker who was attempting Tongue Tied to sing it as well lol

    PS Nice thread Yes

    Keep smiling - It's free!

I went into Turkey Hill (a 7-11 type convenience store) on May 25th and heard The One I Love. I paid for my canned peaches ('cause they're the ones I love). and had a listen.

You are lucky folks in the UK.
I only once heard Babylon at a shop. From the very first notes i had recognised it´s David Gray. Maybe it was an unexpected sign to buy that summer dress Stick out tongue

....while in the changing room trying on a bathing suit before my recent trip, TOIL came on, thought it was a very good omen.

Luckily for me he comes on the radio a lot at work, usually once every few days at least.

I heard him in Florida a few months back on holiday in a souvenir shop- Hospital Food I think it was, very surprising!

He is played on my local radio station quite often, at least once a day. The people working there are very fond of his music and even play songs you wouldn't expect like 'Illuminate' and 'Dead In The Water' today. Smile

I was in Matalan shopping and Toil came on only it wasn't DG, don't know who it was but he murdered it, me and Becca just looked at each other in total shock.

Its funny that i can be listening to my Dg cds  in the car, when the cd finishes i'll switch to the radio, then i'm over the moon if a DG track comes on, my face lights up and i grin broadly even though i could have played the same song on the cd.

    Strange i know.

Last year i took a  Renault megane out on a test drive, i switched on the radio and Please forgive came on, it almost made up my mind to buy the car.

I decided not to buy after all as they are quite expensive for a driving school car, i leased a smaller car instead for a year.

Anyway, today i decided to go for another test drive, after just pulling out the forecourt i switched on the radio , changed to virgin my fave and what comes on but Babylon, i seen this as a good omen and have decided to take the plunge and buy a nice new shiny Black 3door megane.

I was shopping in Staples last Sunday and heard Hospital Food.  All the big stores must have a mixed track listing for 'shopping' to as I always hear this one!

Tonight on BBC1 I was watching the choir competition - forgot what it's called - and the chords for The Other Side were used.
