So. I'm the one who shattered her ankle and broke her tibia screaming down the stairs to get tickets to DG's tour when the tickets first came out. I am still not walking perfectly; it's still wicked painful, and ANYTHING other than DG in person would not be enough to get me in a car for 12 hours....it's NOT good on my leg. But he's coming on my birthday, the 1st, and I am hoping that perhaps someone is going from this area. I can drive (I mean, I can share driving duties!) , I will pay, hell, I'll even pay for food there and back and gas...if this works out.
I'm not sure if my husband will be interested in going; if he is, then this is moot, he'll drive me lol. But if NOT....anyone out there heading to see DG? I was going to leave it till his next tour, but hearing that these will be his last shows in a while, I can't.....
An aside: I was getting a brand new laptop to replace the dinosaur I'm on currently (8 years old :) for my birthday. I'd gladly give that up to see DG. It's an either or for us, financially, and I have to say that thinking of getting a new laptop did NOT bring me to tears and make me almost have an asthma attack when I considered it. Seeing DG live, did.
Anyone got any ideas?
