Just in case you have missed this on the main news page

NYC, listen to 101.9 FM  WXRP Sept. 15 at 8:30 am EDT to hear David perform live on air and talking about his music. For everyone else, WXRP can be heard online at www.1019rxp.com.

Not sure if this may have been recorded while he was in NYC during his recent tour or if this is a live performance indeed.

There is some interesting video footage on their website from his last performance in support of Draw The Line too. You can find it here. Just click onto RPX Sessions (4th from above) and then scroll through the videos. There are clips of him and Neill performing Fugitive, Jackdaw, This Year's Love and Babylon.

    Enjoy.

Well, that's interesting, at 8:30am they said they were about an hour away from his in studio performance.  However, they also said that if you go to their site you can watch as well as listen!  Woo hoo!!   Looks like it may be live afterall.  Poor thing, I thought he would have been back across the pond by now and getting some much needed rest.  lol...  Rock on DG!  Wink

Update: They have just announced that in a little over an hour David's performance will be shown as a video as well. So watch out for that. I'll provide a link as soon as I'll find one.

And after a few hours of some quite dreadful stuff they are playing DG's A Moment Changes Everything. A song I love despite of whatever DG may say about it...  Smile

Well, I hope this is the link where we will be able to watch the performance

(edited as the one in the next post seems to be the correct one/Rena)

There is that little black window to the right of the audio stream which is giving me hope this actually may be it.

    Any thoughts, mlcapc?

I went back to their home page and a large David Gray banner popped up after Alice In Chains, etc... the banners keep changing.  I clicked on that and it said it's not on air yet but this was the link that came up

I think either one may work, though.

Yours looks much more convincing. That banner wasn't up when I last had a look. Thanks a lot!

    This was short but sweet.

quote of the day: "catering is the opposite of food"

He played a lovely version of The One I Love

and what he called 'a highly original version of Holding On because it's on guitar'. A what a beautiful version it was. His rough voice gave this a special raw quality, very emotional.

Thank you for a lovely surprise performance at the end of the tour David.

He is heading home now he said. So enjoy your well deserved rest!

    - edited to say that this is now up on their archive for those who have missed the live stream

I merged the thread with the one that already existed on the topic.

Has anyone else listened to/seen this? Any thoughts? Isn't Holding On amazing?

Just finished watching. I like the idea of an acoustic version of Holding On a lot. But man, does he need to rest that voice. Straining it even talking. One I Love was painful to listen to - and I love that song. Do you know if he takes any supplements, at least for the time he's on the road? I travel a lot globally and used to get colds and other nasties frequently but I started taking a variety of herbs and vitamins a few years ago and haven't been sick since.

As much as I hate to admit it there were parts of that in which I winced a little, but he's still amazing no matter what.
