Yes this was a lovely family outing, long line up but well worth the wait. I have some pictures and will put them up when I get home. We particularly enjoyed the frog exhibit, the nature photographs, mammals and the RBC Blue Water Gallery. If anyone is going to visit Ottawa, take the time to check out the Museum of Nature.
David played in a relatively small room, lots of space for everyone to see though. I think its great that this was open to all rather than the secret radio gigs. The kids were able to sit right up front. David played Fugitive and Babylon, had a few chats with Andrew Elliott the fellow from the station. He must have been tired as they would have driven from Hamilton through the night but he said that a cheering crowd was better than a cup of coffee. A very intimate and laid back little gig. At the NAC last night he thanked the people who went to the museum earlier in the day.
Thanks to 88.5 Live, other stations should follow their lead. I think David enjoyed it too.
