Six years after his death, a final album by Johnny Cash is released this Feb. 26, on what would have been his 78th birthday.

American VI: Ain't No Grave, produced by Rick Rubin,  includes one of the last songs Cash ever wrote, I Corinthians: 15:55, based on a New Testament passage that reads "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?"

Johnny Cash died on Sept. 12, 2003, four months after his wife, June Carter Cash, passed away.

    1 Ain't No Grave - Traditional 2:53
    2 Redemption Day - Crow 4:22
3 For the Good Times - Kristofferson 3:21
    4 I Corinthians 15:55 - Cash 3:37
    5 Can't Help But Wonder Where I'm Bound - Paxton 3:26
    6 Satisfied Mind - Hayes, Rhodes 2:48
    7 I Don't Hurt Anymore - Robertson, Rollins 2:45
    8 Cool Water - Nolan 2:53
9 LastNight I Had the Strangest Dream - McCurdy 3:14

    10 Aloha Oe - Lili'uokalani 2:59

Somehow I just found your post here. Thank you for this. I had fun finding some of his first recordings with Sun records this last weekend and then DG played Cash;s cover of Hurt when he was djing. Awesome!

David's song "draw the line" reminds me of Johnny Cash for some strange reason.........does anyone else hear it?
