Had a great trip to London last Wednesday and then up at 4:30am to go to meet the cadets at an RAF base to go to the Royal Cornwall Show (RCS). We were there for the full 3 days from Thursday to Saturday.
Will post some London pics later but here are some from the RCS.
I was supervising the cadets in the main ring where our main job was to build and remove the fences and put them back during the jumps. I had my small camera with me but was able to get loadsa horse shots as sitting right next to the fences. Some of those horses were HUUUGE and galloping past as close as 1metre

My fav horses are the heavy horses - a great description for them. There was one passenger in a heavy horse cart that was enjoying the ride lol

We managed to get quite a bit of time off to look around the show as well.
One thing I have not seen before was a motorhome.....................
with a garage!!!!!!!!

I found it hard to keep walking past my fav beer tent

of course I had to grab a pic with the westcountry weather girl - both the BBC and ITV teams were based next to us.

A few poop scoops were required after this lot came on - and careful walking across the arena as well

There were other animals that did not make it to the arena.

I love the 2nd one - just luck to get a pose like this lol they were moving all the time - I am sure you know these are alpacas.
and finally - this is me with the man that is....................

at the front of these 3 riders

well it was a great time - shattered at the end of it but looking forward to going next year if I am still around!
Well bedtime now - got to sort some more oics later and will try to sort the caption comp for tomorrow night.
nighty night peeps

Keep smiling - It's free!
