And if I read those news leaking in correctly there doesn't seem to be any more concerts scheduled in Europe in the near future, he seems to be heading for other continents first. This will be your chance to hear the new songs before the album comes out.

Really looking forward to Friday.

I was hoping to go with my Nephew's wife but she not to well at the moment so might not be able to make it.  

Me and Roy are going, can't wait, only 5 more sleeps

And then only another 7 after that

The wife and daughter of Roy's friend at work are also going, they have never seen Dave before and are really excited

I will be going to Thetford and Lucerne, and have combined it all with some visits to friends, family and some holiday...

Nice drive, I will spend a few days in the french/swiss mountains too so I will be fully fit for the gig in Lucerne

If the weather stays like this it will be quite hot ... but if not we might be able to organize a Davidgray.com mud dive competition...

I will bring a nice bottle of wine in the car for the winner...

That looks like a fine trip you have planned Marcel. I am curious about the mud diving competition, do you have a spot in mind for that? I have found a tutorial for those who want to practice:

Hopefully its a dive into Lake Lucerne rather than the mud!

 May i just ask though: how much do everyone believe in these rumours ? 

If this is the general opinion of most people, i may have to seriously consider going to Thetford ... but the distance there-and-back sounds painful :(

I have no knowledge whatsoever of David's plans. Still from what can be read in one or the other news clip on the web I  get the impression he seems to be going to the US, Canada and even Australia first. Which may take how long? A month, two months or even three? Starting when?

I have met people travelling from other European countries and even other continents just to see David perform live. And I haven't seen one regretting the journey. It's on a Friday so you can make a nice weekend trip out of this. 

Have you seen him live before?

Hi Rena thanks for the reply , unfortunately no i have not yet seen him live :( - i fell in love with his music late summer of last year and just missing the end of the greatest hits tour.

From what i can make of it, its looking to be an amazing concert, but iam left with a choice: visit him in Thetford or wait for him to come to the Manchester / Liverpool / Birmingham arenas etc , of which i have heard he has visited.

Are there any forecasts on the weather at all for the Friday ? that could be a deciding factor too

Hi Teemto and welcome to the board, Rena is right you wouldn't regret it but it can be costly travelling to gigs, Thetford will be my 19th time seeing David live and i'e begged, borrowed and stole (slight exaggeration, only slight though, lol) and i've not regretted a single time.

Hope you get to see him soon. Ps the weather forecast is fine 20 degrees, dry and sunny for friday and saturday.

Looking forward to meeting everyone from the board old and new.

Hi - well I got to set off between 3 and 4 am on Friday to get there in time to get in hotel then refreshments before the gig - and hope I can stay awake during the gig

Hope the mountains don't fall over when I borrow those matchsticks

Weather forecast says dry for Friday when I looked yesterday - but this is the UK

but do not expect anything to spoil the fun and enjoyment.

A friend has sent me a picture of Thetford Forest. This looks promising so try and spend some extra time at this beautiful place.

Thanks for photo Rena - it looks superb - unfortunately folks, can't make the gigs this year - but I am looking forward to hearing from you all after the show - it can only be fantastic - in the meantime - I hope all of you who going have a great time and a great get together. Will there be a DVD do you think .............. PLEASE................???????????
