I am so sick of trying to get DG tickets on this site . I have tried to get pre sale tickets to every stop in North America and am willing to travel from MN to were ever I get them. But all that dose not matter because getting them is impossible.I was on today for the Chicago pre sale and was hitting refersh from 9:50 to 10:00 exactly and thought I would be one of the first and was denied them at 10:00 exactly ??? How dose that work???? Do scaplers know some trick to getting them first?? They most because I have also tried to get them via ticket master when they go on sale and have not been able to as well.

This is so very unfair and somthing needs to be done about it. I am a huge and loyal  DG fan but yet no matter how hard I try I can not get tickets to a concert. These Scalpers should be shot.I went to Ebay shortly after I was denied today and of course they were already selling them ther for 3 times the price for shitty seats and 5 times the price for good ones. So if I want to go I have to go broke doing it or refinance my house?

I am aware that this gose on every where but I think DG cares enough about his fan base to do somthing about this or at least speak out about it. Please help us David.

How big a fan am I?? I have 6 DG t- shirts, every DG CD he has put out ,both DVD's, a signed DG poster that hangs in my office, have been at every concert of his in MN, and have to listen to wife rip on me about how much I am in love with him!!  I think DG is the best singer/songwriter out there today. He rivals such greats as Dylan , Van the man, and the Boss. His acustic skills are second to none. His music and lyrics touch me down to my soul and gives me goose bumps and at times and  tears of  joy and remebrance from days gone by.

There's nowhere to write it, there's nowhere to write it, there's nowhere to write it down, write it down.

The trick ain't worth the time it buys........

Sorry I went on so long,I  am just sick of how buying tickets gose these days

I forgot to mention that this will probably never be read by anyone that matters and that to me is really sad.

Not that what I have to say matters, *wink wink*, but I stand by your frustration 100%.  I wasn't successful getting TO tickets during the presale.  For one hour, I was refreshing, hitting the back page, retrying over and over until finally it said sold out.  I've purchased tickets in the past through this site (managed great seats!) without any hassle.

There is seriously something wrong with this site.  Everyone is having trouble with the shop.  (I have yet to see how that will work for me....pre-ordered the bundle, should be in the mail soon, but like I said, we'll see).  Only a select few posters have been successful with the pre-sale.

Seriously.  How many more fans have to end up PO'ed before someone does something????

    Hi Mubby,

We are very upset about scalpers and share your sentiments. It seems that they will go to any lengths to make a profit. In the UK, there are apparently laws against scalpers but this hasn't stopped them and neither do membership fees. In both instances scalpers still persist and sometimes succeed.

    Tour Dates coming soon...

Just to add, I ended up getting my TO tickets through a scalper.  Don't shoot me, it was my only option.  The day of the sale through ticketbastard, I logged on 10 min. before the sale started, and was asking for tickets right at the time of sale.  The best available was gallery (which turns out is 3rd level), but I snagged them anyhow because I was afraid I'd loose out.  About an hour after the sale started, I checked back, and floor seats were availble.  *mad*  Finally, I called ticketmaster, they refunded my tickets and told me to go online and get different ones, only when I did, there weren't any decent seats left.  I managed through ebay to get 10th row.  Paid waaaaaaaaay more than I should have, but when you take into consideration all of the fees of ticketmaster, I only paid about 100 more.  I too hate scalpers.  I think it is an indecent way to make money.  This is the first time I have bought tickets from one, and I hate the fact I did it.  Selfish me wasn't going to see this concert up on the third floor though.  I've gotten a taste of him from row 3, and now my standards are set way to high!

No worries Katiemay,  I am such a big fan that I have to go, so I will break down and buy tickets from a scalper as well.  On a brighter note I can not wait for DG 08' CD and tour. I could use some new DG tunes to enjoy.

I have been talking all night long and

There is nothing more to say

So I'm searching every mirror for a trace of yesterday

Almost forgot. Thank you for your response system Admin. It dose hold some water for me to see someone reads up on this stuff. I know there is not much you can do about scalpers and I love the fact you guys have pre-sales for your fans , it is just sad that it dose not seem to get the tickets to your true fans.

It just seems unreal that I tried to get pre-sale tickets to every stop in North America and did not get in once and was trying early every time.  Soon after I would look for tickets other places and minutes later they were already up for sale ??

I just wonder if these scalpers have some tricks to get them first, do you know anything about this ??

Reading about this is making me not want to bother if DG comes back to Philly. The presale in 2003 went so smoothly, fans got really good seats and all was good. There were no threads like we're seeing now where scalpers seemed to get the majority of tickets and no one else seemed to get anything good. So what was different this time around? I really don't want to be giving my hard-earned money either to scalpers or to an artist who's website managed to keep scalpers at bay for the most part once but can't do that anymore. And to say that 'scalpers are everywhere, there's nothing we can do' is, to me, major avoidance of a problem. If I recall correctly, scalpers weren't a problem with the 2003 tour, or 2005 for that matter. Why are they such a problem now?
