Anyone watch the celebration of Swap Shop (and the Saturday morning shows that followed) on BBC2 last night? It was quite the nostalgia fest!'Going Live!' and 'Live and Kicking' were the shows I grew up with, but they were all adapted from the Swap Shop format, hence all retrospective sections enjoyable to watch. What made the night for me? Trev and Simon. Reviving old characters for new sketches.
"Are you still swinging your pants?"
"Ooh, yes, but I've got arthritus now"
(yes, yes... but in those voices it is hillarious)Only down point was having that overpaid, unfunny and totally unrelated idiot Chris Moyles on to speak his usual self-indulgent garbage.Emma Forbes more than made up for that. Wow.

I saw it, bar half an hour in the middle to watch the repeat of eastenders. I thought it was dullsville, actually. A massive BBC w@nkfest. Like a competition to see how many vacuous BBC whores they could squeeze onto one show - Noel, Cheggars, Andy Peters, 'Pip' Schofield, Sarah Green... yak yak yak yak yak. They should've spent more time looking at old clips, instead it was an excuse to give each other anal. Sorry, only had one coffee yet this morning...
    Allegedly.
