It's back to the grind here another boring day at work, entertain me folks!By the way, I just got caught picking my nose! I thought my customers had left the model, they cam back into my office just as I was digging in for a big booger! Ok, sorry to share that, I'm sure you would have rather not known that.
So on the 23rd I went to my dad and step mom's house. My step sister was there too. We exchanged gifts and had dinner. My step mom got drunk, then my dad got drunk, then i decided to leave. I met some girlfriends out and we had the best girl's night out ever!! We went dancing. I was wearing my green dress that my dad had just given me and brown boots. Then Jessica put a santa hat on me and said I looked like an elf (b/c of the green dress/boots/red hat combo) She could not stop laughing the whole night. We sang Christmas carols out on the sidewalk outside the bar while waiting for our DD to pick us up. Good, silly fun! Some dumb boy said "what fun is gril's night out if you don't have guys around?" Hello! That's the whole freaking point you dummy! The guys were like flies around a trash can, it was so annoying trying to dance and fend off unwanted advances. But we managed and had a blast!The 24th I slept in for as long as I wanted. Then I drove up to my Aunt Eve's house in Maryland. We had dinner and hung out talking forever. She has this beautiful old farmhouse that has been restored, I really like visiting there- for a short time that is.Christmas morning we got up and opening pressies. We had breakfast and tea and made a fire. Then I took a nice long nap! After a lazy day we broke out the champagne about 4pm. We had 18 people for dinner- my aunt and uncle, my moms, my grandmother, my mom's girlfriend's sister and her son, my uncle's brother and his family, some neighbors and Betty Currie and her husband! They are friends with my aunt and uncle. To place the name, she was Clinton's secretary, the one who got caught up in all the Monica Lewinsky stuff. Such a nice woman, so smart with amazing stories to tell. She said Monica was a very kind, very sweet woman. I've always thought that anyway, I really like Monica and have found her to be an appealing person ever since I read her book. Betty said it was a nightmare and that she was so upset at having to testify and go against her employer and friend and against Monica. She and Monica don't speak much anymore, but she said that Monica sent her a very loving letter when Betty's sister died. Anyway, pretty interesting stuff. Later during dinner the power went out, luckily we were at the huge table filled with candles. We had been listening to the CD that Dusty made me- the one with Christmas music on it. So we were drunk enough that we decided to sing- it was hilarious and terrible all at the same time.I woke up early yesterday and drove back to Charlottesville to drop off my mom and Linda's presents taht they didn't have room for.Now today I am back in Richmond at work. Which sucks. And my nose is filled with boogers. I must be getting sick. Poor me.

Sorry I missed this until now, Courtney, but I'm still laughing my butt off at the picture of you whipping your hand away from your face with a guilty, "I wasn't doing anything!" expression. More importantly though...did they buy the house? And can I add that I'm impressed that someone who was a big player in national news was at your place! I bet she does have some great stories to tell.

i am still in atlanta visiting my sister. eating too much. shopping too much.

Hey there booger girl! Well, I hung out with the fam all day in Seattle opening presents, eating way too much, and playing Monopoly till 1 in the morning! Way fun, and now I am back in LA.

well, i had the basic holiday and then the days after that consist of eating too much, drinking too much and feeling disgusted with myself.i'm proud of myself, just made it through my first day without touching any chocolate or sweets. that's how bad it was. back on the wagon for me.

this is the first xmas in 2 years that I allowed myself to induldge I just allowed myself to eat anything .. it was fun but now I feel gross ... where that weight loss thread

23rd: A little bit of shopping during the day. Went to our neighbours/best friends for festivities. Exchanged gifts and ate way too much. Friends and family together was nice.24th: Had both sides of our families over for Christmas eve. Made lots of food, felt like I was in front of the stove forever....went outside to cool down for five minutes...made the mistake of sitting on the cold cement step which I paid for the next day.
My brother and I made choco chip cookies after the food was all out....he brought all the supplies over and even SPRINKLES!!!! Played hide the $20 bill with my brother all night because he wanted to pay us back for the beer we got him and Richard refused to take the money....so we took turns hiding it around the house....he finally left with it in his shoe and didnt notice until he got home. 25th: Christmas dinner at my mom in laws with my nan, mom, sis, bro in law, bro, sis in law, etc...etc.... it was fun.
'Round 2' of hide the 20$ bill began again.
Stayed pretty late. Was fun. Due to the cement sitting the night before I had to pee every 5 mins....which was a drag.
Somehow two 5$ bills ended up staying on my mom in laws fridge and we have no clue where they came from.26th: Cleaned up at home a little....went out for dinner and then to Montreal Ouest for a fundraiser Richard always plays at for Cystic Fibrosis. It is so much fun. We won a Hockey Bag from the raffle.
Got to see people we hadnt seen in a year.
Our mom's left us for Daytona beach. Grrrr.
