Wow DCA. What you have written is so lovely. How wonderful that there are people like yourself and all of Team Grayhead. It truly makes me feel so good inside to read all these beautiful thoughts from this beautiful group of people. I feel an odd combination of jealousy and satisfaction when reading about Team Grayhead's adventures. I hope that one day I can meet some of you and participate in an adventure myself.

What amazes me most about meeting everyone who is part of this group is how much we are all seem to have in common with one another, just because we're touched by the same music. It feels like every time I turn around, I meet another facet of myself. I've been part of teams and organizations in the past, but I've yet to feel such deep and immediate connections with others that I continually find with people on this site. I don't fully understand it, and I don't necessarily care to. All I know is that it makes me happy in a way that my soul truly needs! This kind of stuff does not happen by accident!

Truly. All those words between all those commas, DCA. Every single one. I would only add "healing" and "life affirming." I feel as if I have had a major and much needed attitude adjustment. There are lots of words that describe me, however "spontaneous" has never been one of them, and "safety first" has been a life long motto. This event (for it was not merely a concert) for an over-anxious, tightly-wound, prudish type like me was certainly a risk, and I was rewarded with the most unexpected feeling of freedom and liberation and belief that the best has yet to come. Believe me, I didn't see that one coming.

Ok DCA, go retrieve Maria's eyeballs. They must have rolled down the stairs, out the door, and halfway to Dallas by now. ;)

very nice post, David, you summed your feelings up beautifully - and i share them! i was not able to make it (afford it) to Vegas this time, but glad to hear all the Grayheads had a wonderful time. thanks for all the posts and pictures here and on facebook.
