Hi - I went to Cambridge Saturday morning to collect my ticket and the spare I had for sale for DG's concert on Wednesday evening. In the Box Office, there is a brilliant poster advertising David's dates around the UK.

I had a quick look in HMV and was chuffed to bits to be able to buy a copy of the Shine Album. Although there are tracks on there I am familiar with, some of them are new to me.

I have been a DG fan since I purchased the original single version of Babyalon back in 1998 ( I think ). I know I sung Babylon and New Horizons when I was travelling in Oz and NZ at the end of 1999, through to April 2000.

Wednesday will be the fifth time I will have seen DG. I can not WAIT.

The posts on here make great reading.

Hi fellow DG fans, saw the great man at Cornbury on Saturday - my second gig of David's and as usual he certainly did the business for the crowd, nice to hear 'now and always' live. Have to say he really puts the effort in on stage, amazing. Roll on Wednesday, am seeing him in Cambridge. I thought Squeeze were great too, loved them since i was a teen !! Was a great day all round

There's only 1 Dig A Pony song that I know and its by The Beatles. There is a line in the song that is "All I want is you".

Hopefully a video of it will pop up on Youtube cause Id love to hear DG's version of it.

It sounds like it was a wonderful show and that DG got a great reception. Thanks for the info about the new song - the man is so full of music these days he continues to surprise us!

Enjoy seeing Dylan as well as our man in Ireland ( 3 of my favorite things!). I would give anything to be there... Hope it is as magical as it is in my imagination.

At first I'd like to thank SheilaD and her husband for offering me a lift back to Oxford last night. Weren't it for the two of you - I would not have been able to go to Cornbury at all.

At Heathrow airport now. This gig yesterday has so been well worth travelling through the night and missing out on sleep. No matter how good other artist's shows are that I go to - there is no one like David and his magnificient band.

This was a festival and when I overheard people say that the Buddy Guy performance would not possibly be topped I knew they were in for a surprise.

As expected from a festival performance this was a greatest hits show, meant to catch the crowd. And DG and the band sure did. Actually I did not expect any new songs yesterday, except for maybe 'A Moment Changes Everything'. It was not played but a huge surprise instead.

It was a song called 'Dig A Pony' with a most catching refrain that went 'All I want is you'. A song that may be a DG original or a cover, Elysium and I were wondering. This can't be from the Foundling cd as it is the opposite of what Foundling is said to be, it's upbeat, loud, fast, big fun. This put a big smile onto my face. very nice. so I spent the night singing that refrain in my mind. I don't remember seeing any such title on the bonus cd either but please correct me if I am wrong. This airport pc won't allow me to open a second window and just check.

Nemesis - as always it took me into another universe. a special version as I have never heard it in such a rocky version. the improvised part went wild. brilliant. and once again - Neill's guitar and Rob's bass!

He played a song of his own on the car stereo and gave me three of his own cds. Very nice. Go and get this album done, Mr.
