Yes, that is the WaMu gig I was referring to! I used to just listen to It Accumulates on repeat off that for hours... thank goodness for archive.org. But, obviously, I have not done enough David Gray watching on YouTube yet! Time to break out the iPad and start going on a video marathon of Mr. Gray... thanks for this link as well. I would love to hear this song recorded in the studio... c'mon unreleased studio b-side suddenly showing up!   

But it certainly is one of his best B-sides I have heard by him... ranking up there with All The Love and Mighty Wrong Time, which I love off of Joe's Pub from 2001. Well, actually, that whole gig. There is the concert I wore out in my car's CD player. Streets of Philadelphia off there! Makes me smile as I can hear him screwing up on that one just thinking about it. I think we need to start a thread with all the best versions of each song... hmmm... with manpower, it could be done!

The lyrics to It Accumulates haunt me and come into my head all of the time.  I love this song, though it terrifies me.  I'd love to hear it live. 

I agree with a lot of the ones mentioned here.  I'd love an old rarity, like Gathering Dust, Falling Free, Coming Down, or Everytime. Force of Nature would be amazing since it's my favorite new song.  There are many that get plenty of play that still get me excited though, like Kathleen, Lately, Now & Always, Nemesis, etc.  Well, ok, so much for picking a song!!

I'm so sad I'm not making it to any shows this tour.  I came *this* close to pulling it off,but alas.  I hope that we are flooded with reviews, setlists, and videos by this time tomorrow!!

Sorry to hear you aren't making it to one of his shows this tour... or mini-tour, or whatever you want to call it :) I just can't wait to see a setlist from tonight to get a sample of what this set of gigs is going to be about! 

And, the song that I really want to hear the most, though it more than likely will not be pulled out again, is his cover of the Everly Brother's Let It Be Me. That is mine and my wife's song and we were married to his version of it, so we have a little sentiment to that one ;)  But, give it a few minutes and I will change my mind. I don't think there is a single song I would be disappointed in seeing though!

Lol, nightblindness is a difficult one. I'd have to go with:

Nightblindness: DTL bonus disc, Witnness 00, Luzern 07, LISM, That one from 03 gig that got posted recently

Nemesis: Generally speaking, the later in the tour, the better. The one from Ohio theatre is probably a good candidate (love that tape).

 Well, I would agree with you on the version of Nemesis from the Ohio Theatre. That's been my favorite version for awhile and just feel asleep to that one last night.  

 For Nightblindness, I don't think I have heard the Luzern version (do you have audio of this gig? I know I have seen some Youtube videos but could not find that song on Youtube). I think the DTL bonus disc or the LISM version take the cake, but there are SO many good versions of that song.

 Thanks so much for that! That, vocally, may be the best Nightblindness, though I miss the drums from gigs like Massey Hall in '07. Certainly that song got way better over time... I remember thinking that was my least favorite song from White Ladder the first time I listened to the album.  So, now that we have been talking about it, this is now the song I want to hear the most this tour! ;)

I was just thinking the same after I saw it pop up!!!!

Luzern 07 was our FIRST DG gig and Nightblindness was transcending............one of the most - if not THE most -  magical moments ever with DG. Soooooo awesome!

actually I wouldn't mind seeing this again.....in more a more electric sound than lost & found

I like the live versions of Alibi, from both tours actually, but there's just something on that studio version that makes the song even more haunting. That fancy production really works there.

Conpletely agree! I was worried that for once, a studio version of a song may be better than the live version when I first heard Alibi. They do a fantastic job live, but there is that desperation in the studio version that is hard to match... Especially with the orchestration. (and the music video!!)

@AK11, not quite sure which link was or is broken but the file is in fact still there...

So what song would I like to hear on the tour ? Wow plenty of choice but I hope for you guys going that he will do Force of Nature... but why not give Destroyer a go... or Second Halo ?

But to be honest, from what I heard and seen so far... really good stuff !
