this page is not live yet, but shows up on google: http://www.summerfest.com/artist/f7b38654-d55d-4039-ae56-fef92ccae4e1 If true, very cool that he'll be on Summerfest's newest stage that debuts this year. Here's a video of the proposed design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XH6yEQqL6_8

Heads up for the Summerfest goers. The new stage requires "blue circle" passes for seating in the first 26 rows (approximately 2,500 people) of the pavilion. Apparently they will clear out the "blue circle" at 7:00 pm so you won't be able to stake out a good spot earlier in the day.
The passes are free at the Summerfest box office or through Ticketmaster for a $3.00 fee. Blue passes for David Gray are available on monday 5/14 at 12:00 p.m. Unfortunately I am sure some of these passes will end up in the hands of scalpers and brokers.

How about a presale for this show. According to Summerfest, they said tickets for the BMO Stage can be purchased from: Authorized BMO Harris Pavilion tickets can only be purchased through:

FYI Tickets are already popping up on stubhub for those "free" tickets in the first 26 rows. $12-$120. (its not a complaint, just a heads up for anyone in need of a ticket). Since its a brand new venue, seating charts are still not available. Ticketmaster had one posted but not too specific as far as rows goes. Hopefully you all got some tickets today! :)

Very diplomatic, Brad. You're undecided about this show, right, because of your work schedule?!? Did you get tickets "just in case..."?? Hope you can make it. Another heads up - at this moment there are still "blue circle" tickets (first 26 rows, 2500 seats) available from Ticketmaster ... not the greatest seats but not resale market prices, either. Of course, the other 2500 seats plus room for 5000 more (standing) behind that will still be available on the day of the show, no ticket necessary (except for the ticket to get into Summerfest). I don't live in the area any more so someone went and stood in line for nearly 3 hours to get me some tickets at the box office today. I'd been watching the ticket giveaways for the other shows and the box office seemed like the best bet. Not the best seats I've ever gotten but the fact that someone loves me enough to do that for me makes them great to me. I had planned to camp out at the venue all day the day of the show to get in the front (I think that's kind of the fun of Summerfest!?!) so this ticket thing kind of bugs me. I don't have the highest hopes for this one - very large venue, probably a lot of drunk and chatty people in the crowd, Iron Maiden playing on the stage next door at the same time, etc. but hey, David will put on a great show, my tickets were free, and it will just be a good time.

so the "free" tickets get you an assigned seat inside the venue..........presumably the rows go in ascending order? and then you need a summerfest ticket as well? on the fence on this one wolfie............

Yes, first you buy admission to Summerfest and then you use the free "blue circle" ticket for the concert itself. Yes, it's goofy - it's a new venue so they are trying something new. The "blue circle" ticket gets you an assigned seats in the lower bowl (first 26 rows) - they say they are going to clear it out at 7:00 PM and then those people with tickets can go get their assigned seats. For the rear seats (2nd seated tier) and SRO areas it's GA on the day of the show. I was told that Row A is the front row and it goes back from there (B,C, D, etc. with then some AA, BB, CC, etc. behind that). There is some more detailed info on the Summerfest website: http://www.summerfest.com/about/bmo-harris-pavilion/ .

We can't even believe this!! My wife and I just jumped on the forums for an update on the summerfest concert and found out about this "blue circle" seating arrangement. We are from Wisconsin and are familiar with how concerts typically happen at summerfest, so we are surprised to learn of these "blue circle" seats being released. After reading the forums, we saw that tickets may be available through ticketmaster or stubhub. We have checked both of these sights and have been unsuccessful. If anybody has any extra tickets or if anyone is unable to attend this concert, will you please contact us? We have really been looking forward to going to this concert together for quite some time, and would appreciate any help we can get. Thanks!!! If anyone knows of something, please contact us through this forum! Thanks again!!!!!

And also remember that the blue circle tickets are only for the 2,500 seats closest to stage. Anyone on the Summerfest grounds will be able to occupy any of the other 7,500 seats/standing areas without any additional ticket.
