Woohoo, he's back on the road, is there a like button anywhere, lol.

Here's hoping for just a few UK dates.

Just popped home for some lunch and funny on the drive home I had a funny feeling David was about to announce tour dates.

I may just show up to this one. If anyone in the area can find a cheap hotel near the show, I would greatly appreciate the info.

I'm super fired up to see David Gray again this summer!  Last year, David and his band did a swing in early July that went from the Basilica Block Party in Minneapolis to Kansas City to Chicago to Omaha, all in just four days.  I didn't see the outdoor performances in Minnesota and Illinois, but greatly enjoyed the indoor shows at the Uptown in KC (in spite of the heat/humidity in the building) and the Orpheum in Omaha.

I've seen shows at the Minnesota Zoo Amphitheatre previously....a wonderful, intimate outdoor venue.  David and the Minnesota Zoo....a perfect match!

Is anyone familiar with the Meadow Brook venue in Michigan?  That is in my neck of the woods, I'm about 3 hours north.  Sounds like something I really should not miss!!

Hi Vicki! Thanks to you for that fine photo. It was so special to enjoy both the Kansas City and Omaha shows with you last summer. Any possibility that you'll head north to Minnesota in early July?

DCA, it would be lovely to meet you also.  Are you starting a zoo Grayhead meetup?  Maybe by the monkeys, not the lions.  Smile

unfortunately we don't have any hotels in the midwest but yes we should get something going - and I too prefer the monkeys!

After wringing of hands (and cursing fate), I have decided to attend the show in Minneapolis. I will have the chance to take my niece and her husband to dinner (they live in Foley, MN, about 90 miles from the zoo) and take in a DG show. I so hope to meet a bunch of new folks and reconnect with friends I've met before.

Yes, Dave, it looks like I will be making it!  After a few seconds consideration, I decided to turn our one week vacation in Florida into a two week beach/concert vacation.  I'll be going up to Chicago, then Minneapolis, so I'm really, really hoping for a show somewhere between FL and Chicago on the 29th.

And great news that Philly will be there!!

Okay, folks, here's the poop. I will be attending the Chicago show (and if that works, Minneapolis too) on June 30, and here's why: I have a lovely niece who lives in Foley, MN, 90 miles or so from Minny. As fate has it, my brother (dad) will be driving to see his daughter for the 4th of July and leaving Rochester on the 28th. Free ride to Chicago, where everyone will meet up for a mini-reunion, then everyone goes to Foley. This may seem a bit disjointed, bottom line, I get to see my niece, get a free ride to                               Chi-(home of DCA)-cago, a show with new Grayhead friends, and maybe in Minneapolis! I WILL see you in Chicago!
