Anyone recieve "The following items are currently reserved by other customers, please try again in a few minutes" as a reply when trying to purchase presale tickets?  I've been trying for over a half hour now.

This is common. Reserved doesn't mean tickets are sold out yet, only that all tickets are in the process of being purchased. If someone doesn't complete their purchase it is possible for tickets to become available again. Keep trying.

Also, because this is only a presale, our allotment of tickets are limited. In the event that you don't get tickets during the presale, we will update the tour page with links to the public sale.

At exactly 10am, I logged in to buy presale tickets. I keep getting the following message when I add to cart:

  The following items are currently reserved by other customers, please try again in a few minutes - David Gray - State Theatre - Minneapolis, MN - February 28, 2011 (Main Floor, Rows A-L) ............

 So I'm guessing they are not all sold out since it is asking me to try again in a few minutes.  Is this typical?

Had the SAME problem..... they appear to be gone now.... site is responding quickly and there are no seats....

 No doubt an automated system came in and snatched them all up...... with out any protection from that..... loyal fans like us are screwed.... Very disappointed.

Yeah, great.  I had to pit seats in my cart and put in my CC info and they were gone.  Took me a total of one minute to put in the info.  What a joke.  Where did my seats go?????

I eventually snagged my tickets but the first couple of tries the system said my card was invalid so I entered a different card and it accepted. Not sure what was going on with my first card.

I was able to get tickets for Minneapolis rows A-L (I didn't even try to get pit as I thought that would be a little too close to the stage and those were more likely to go really fast), but realized after I did the whole sale I had the currency in pounds, not US dollars.  Hoping that doesn't mess things up -- but I did at least get a confirmation email.

Dang!  Will it specifically tell me "there are no tickets left" ??  Because it keeps asking me to try again in a few minutes.  I was on there at 10 on the dot!!

Has anyone placed an order and got an order number on their screen, but NOT gotten a confirmation email yet?

been trying since 11 EST for the DC (North Bethesda) show and getting same message.  Very annoying but until I get a "sold out" message I'll keep clicking away.

 

Update:  after many clicks and a few minutes, I finally got through and got my tickets.  So keep trying!

Tickets for the pit in Chicago are already up on StubHub for $525.ea.  Soooooo disappointing.  Anyone know if they will post "sold-out" once they actually are?  Any point in continuing to try?
