    Wow Kendall--Great !!

    My Question:

You've been coming to the States a lot lately.

Would you ever consider a vacation home here, and if so, what part of the US ?

Thank you David, and the band for all the brilliant music.

fantastic kendall. i remember a radio station asking our questions and rena actually was choosen, that was exiting. so, my question is: are you serious with the suits?

    Big Smile

eerm, hold on. i´d rather ask:

david, i remember you saying you didn´t know how to release your next album (as we now know draw the line). as the record is self-financed, what would you tell people who download your work through a download platform and why did you choose the usual ways if releasing an album?

Wow, I have a whole list of questions but I'll stick to just one. What song are you most proud of that you wrote and what is your favorite song to sing when no one is around? LOL KARI FROM SEATTLE

    I have a few questions:

    1)  Who is the girl in the Babylon II music video (the one shot in San Francisco).  Is she just some random actress?

    2)  What was the writing process for 'Shine'?  Does the couple "go where they can Shine" together, or separately.  I have never been able to tell if they stay together or break-up.  The lyrics seem to leave it open to intrepretation, so I am wondering what David's take is.

    3)  What is his favorite venue to perform in the San Francisco Bay Area?

    4)  Why didn't he include the cool harmonica in Fugitive?? :-)

    Cheers.

    Hi David,

as you may know Leonard Cohen is - after a little break - still touring at the age of 75. Do you hope to play concerts when you'll be at this age or is this a dread for you?

Kathleen is such a beautiful song. I would like to know whether you were thinking about a real person with this name or did you choose the name only because of the nice sound of  "Kathleen"?

    Thx - nevermind

    Hello David,

a non music related question from me

    - when you were still an active painter, what style of paintings did you do? Where they landscapes, portraits, abstracts or something else entirely?

and a music related one as well

    - you or rather Robbie play a harmonium that was especially made for you on 'From Here You Can Almost See The Sea'. Is there any other rare instrument that you do not own yet but would like to use on future compositions?

    Thank you, Rena x

And Tony, on that Virgin Radio live music session questions by Marcel and Constanza were also chosen and answered. This was an exciting evening indeed.

    My question...well 2 questions.

    1. What ever happened to your old trusty Lowden, do you plan on ever having it appear again during a gig?

    2. When touring in the US, you've only been to the Carolina's once, why so and do you plan on returning ever in the future?

I am the sudden and quite unexpected twist...

    1. Will you ever play the amazing Magdalena for Bluewater and I? Pleeeease Wink

    2. I am a painter myself, albeit a very amateur and self taught one, my favourite artist is Salvador Dali. What do you think of his work?

    3. Keithy baby. Do you remember me from Birt? The little Welsh one Stick out tongue You promised me your drumsticks after I didn't manage to get them at Thetford. Boo hoo, sob sob [:'(]

Aw yea this is awesome! What a fantastic opportunity! :) Thanks Kendall :)

    My Question would be -

Will you be releasing anymore records after Draw The Line that comprise of songs from the Draw The Line sessions ala the Lost Songs record? As iv read in many interviews recently you state this has been your prolific period as a songwriter, and have loved everything iv heard of the new stuff so am wondering if this is a possibility?

Abit longwinded but yea would love to know the answer?! sorry if its been asked already, couldn't see it elsewhere!

ill also have to agree with ryantty question about the harmonica in Fugitive being MIA.

Thanks very much, very much look forward to seeing/hearing the answers!

    Hi Dave

    1. What are your expectations from the upcoming tour?

    2. What do you do on tour to relax when you get a chance between the gigs and travelling?

    3. I live in Cornwall. have you ever been here? Have you ever seen a Cornish Chuff?

    4. How did the Draw the Line artwork evolve? Was it your idea or a collaboration?

Have a great time on tour.

    Dave

Album track 'Stella the Artist' contains a lyric that describes swimming in a "sea of psychotic puke". With that in mind, where do you get your ideas from and why?

Or! If you want a more serious question:
The David Gray band have been unveiling Draw the Line tracks at various concerts recently. If it's possible to tell, which songs have been getting the most reaction?

    Ta!

    Great idea Kendall, thankyou.Smile

I have a few questions, a little longwinded but worth a shot so here goes; Hello David

1).  I'm a driving instructor and it would be cool to know - When and where you learned to drive, did you pass your driving test 1st time and what was your very first vehicle?

    2).  This question is from my 22yr old son who's plays base guitar in a band called Ali and the beachcombers;

What would be the best advice that you could give to someone just starting out in the music industry today?

3).  In a recent interview you were described as the Transformer man.

From the Lou reed's 1972 album Transformer - Perfect day is my favourite track. It would make my day perfect and many others i'm sure if you would "describe your Perfect Day"

Just would like to say a big thankyou to you and the band for your perfect music, see you in Manchester.

    Tracey (aka Elysium)
