While grocery shopping today (one of my least fav chores) I heard Fugitive.  That made it a little better.  lol

While the hubby was away in Charleston, SC for training he was staying at the Residence Inn and they had all of Foundling on loop in the lobby.  Smile

I love when I hear DG on XM because often it will be a rarity or alternate version of a song! Smile

Called the Dallas-Fort Worth Marriott and was briefly put on hold to catch the end of  "Caroline" - had a good laugh wondering whether a certain hotelier in the area has enough pull to chose the local "on hold" music !!!!

I've heard David two days in a row now.

Jack in the Box, not only serves food, and a decent Ice Tea ,  they have DG on their sound system..............A Moment changes everything.

And while in Joanne Fabric's, goose bumps brought on by the surprising.......... Full Steam, I'm thinking its a sign. Tee Hee

"Please Forgive Me" followed about 15 minutes later by "Holding On" in a clothing store.

I decided to reward them by buying a sweater.  Wink

I was just in the grocery store and minutes after walking in... Holding On came on...

I was really surprised that song popped up.. they play David a lot around here but its almost always greatest hits...

So by the time my pokey self got done and to the check out.. Sail Away came on...

I guess all the planets are in alignment today... LOL

Nice one!  I think you may have figured out how to fix the economy.  We'll just have every store play DG all the time.  I know I'd stay in a store longer and probably buy more if DG was playing.  lol

And chalk another one up for "Holding On".  I, too, was surprised to hear it in our grocery store.  We usually get the Greatest Hit songs, also.  It was a lovely surprise.  I found myself singing along in the check-out line.  My poor 7 yr old!   Smile

Heard Holding On in Belk, World To Me in Chilis, and then Stella The Artist in the grocery store. It's funny how nobody knows David Gray but they are hearing him everywhere they go. I seem to recall reading that long, long, long ago DG thought it would be cool to hear his music being played while people were shopping for jeans. I would say that has more than come true. What a good pun, instead of Top of the Pops, he's Top of the Shops.
