some of you have met one or some of David's great band members, present or past. So post your pictures here.

Anyone who is not sure on how to do that just send me a PM and I'll gladly help you with this.

YES!! Twice!!

It was waaaay back in the day of 2005. I met them backstage, all of them, at the Avalon Nightclub after spending the concert time up in the "owners booth" and talked to Clune's wife for a bit. So I met clune mostly, THE most amazing guy ever.. and the rest of them lightly. except for david. which is still to this day my life's ambition.

 The next time was shortly after at the Agannis Arena, where clune called me up and kept his promise of putting my name on the guestlist.. and met them all again, a good reunion if you will... again except for david.

 
I wasn't so lucky this time around because there was no Clune. I didn't get to meet the new band OR DAVE BUT!! i have a plan to meet him next time. Its failproof. It'll happen - i'll keep you updated.
 

I have met all the band quite a few times now - and everyone of them have been really nice and chatted.

Going to search for some "new" band pics and will put in a new post

On the tours in November 2007 and February/March 2008 we met and chatted to the band so many times but did not ask for many pics - do not seem to have got one with Rob on these last two tours

However I did see Rob after the first gig at St Johns in London on 18th July 2007. This was the third part of DG's Bare Bones tour where DG was touring with the "fading in" Rob and the brilliant Neill. I think it was at St Johns where we first saw the excellent Kieth on the drums. We had seen Rob and Neill with DG on the Bare Bones tours in Scotland and Ireland already.

The first gig of the November tour - we called out Bramble Jelly Tour after a remark DG made in an interview not long before the tour - was the first time we saw James. When we went in we noticed the extra keyboards on the stage and wondered if there was someone new.

Here is a pic after the Newcasle gig with Neill and James - Deffo the first pic for james with a DG fan and maybe for Neill as well - but this is Neill's 2nd stint with DG so he may have had one taken before.

There is a little amusing storey to this pic as well - well I think it is amusing

Elysium and me were waiting outside with a few others when Rob came out. While we were chatting Neill came out and I asked for a pic. Rob actually took my camera and took this pic lol Meanwhile Elysium was waiting in a queue to see dg and I was going to take her pic with my camera. When Rob was getting ready James came past and I said you be in it too and he poked his head between me and Neill. At this time Elysium had got to DG and she was calling me to take the pic. Rob was having a bit of difficulty with the camera and DG was shouting to me " Come on Dave we are waiting" haha Rob finally got this pic and then I went over to get Elysium with DG - a pic she has posted on here already. Lovely moment to remember!!

Then onto Glasgow and Wolverhampton where we met Kieth after and had quite a long chat with him. he is really nice too. Here I got my pic with him. I had put on a special tie hoping to meet Kieth and I did and got a pic which he said was the first time he had been asked for his pic with anyone at a DG gig.

Well I suppose that will be it until the new tour - or any other gigs Dave will sneak in before a main tour hits the road.

Lovely to have all these memories - I never get tired of going on these tours and these do have lots of special memories for me to recall
