Went to see Beth Rowley in an old medieval hall at Dartington in Devon. It was a great venue.
The hall was behind those 4 large windows.

She did a set which was just over an hour. She did the ones from the DG tour which was good as my fav was Almost Persuaded and she said it was her fav as well. She is a very much more confident young lady than her first DG support and was cracking a few jokes between as well.
She did a good take on one I do sing to myself quite often - Leaning on a lampost lol. How many remember that one!! and who sung it!!
I did hang around as I sometimes do
and it was worth it as got to have quite a long chat with her and the drummer. They remembered me from the DG tour and I got a pic taken by her brother - thanks to him.

This hall is at the uni my daughter is at so I went to the students bar after to embarass her hehe
Was a great night and if you get a chance to see her then I am sure you will enjoy her.
I am going to try and see her in some big German tent at a festival in Bath in May or June !!
Oh and sent some pics from the DG tour to Beth's web site and they have been posted in the gallery - unfortunatly no names with the pics but the description should identify mine.
Enjoy your weekends everyone.
Keep smiling - It's free!
