    Hi to all.

My name is Brian. I live in upstate NY with my wife and 2 (soon to be 3) children. My wife first turned me onto David in 2005. We drove from upstate NY to Washington DC to see David. I must admit, the trip was more for my wife than it was myself, but after seeing David live- I have been hooked ever since. We have seen David 2 more times since then. In Ottawa and Toronto, CA. He is probably hands down, the best live act I have ever seen! I hope to see him many more times in the years to come! Thank you David!! Your music has become a part of my life. My world is a better place every day because of it!

     Cheers!

    Brian

Take my hand, we're gonna go where we can shine!!

Hello, Brian. Welcome to the boards. I especially want to welcome you, as Rochester is my hometown. I live in Lancaster, PA now for three years, after many years at the Democrat and Chronicle. I, too, have seen DG a couple of times, both in Philadelphia (drove from Rochester to see him). I don't believe he ever played there in Rochester, though. I recall asking Jeff Spevak about that and he could not recall him ever playing there. Anyway, welcome aboard!!

Hi Brian and welcome.  Where would you be without us wives who turn you on to David!! The man is fantastic (my husband now also feels the same way) We are so lucky to live close to Manchester and to be able to travel to see him when he plays in England.  Small world, visited Rochester as my husband has family there. It is beautful place.  The family name is Mcnelly.  Not sure how popular a name it is

.Hope all goes well with child number 3 (another one for the fan club)

I am relatively new to the board and am always amazed by the amount of info and support people give to one another to help us all appreciate David and his music.and all the photo's are fantastic.

Love nothing better than taking large glass of red wine, big lump of cheese,& crusty bread up to my little study to listen to David while catching up with all the gossip on here.

    Take care to all

Hello Mr and Mrs Brian from deepest Cornwall - well just in Cornwall.

Welcome to the board - the idea of the crusty bread and cheese sounds good to me - but sorry I would have to have a real Cornish beer to have with mine lol.

Hope you get to see the man again soon but looking like end of the year at the mo!!

Good luck with no 3 as well - hope all goes well.

    Keep smiling - It's free!

    Morning Djk

If cornish beer is as good as a proper cornish pasty I will forgo the bread and cheese, well maybe not I will probably have it all.

To all who may be going to see David at the weekend have a fantastic time looking forward to the review and the photo's

    Take care all
