Has anyone got and read this?  I've ordered it from Amazon.  I've seen it before but because it doesn't appear to be an 'official' biography I've not bought it.  Is it a good read?

There is 2 version of the biography. One version goes all the way though to the end of the White Ladder tour. The other version goes though A New Day at Midnight. The second version is the same as the first but it just has a couple extra chapters. The first version has a picture of David playing guitar on the front, the second version has a head shot of David on the front.

I have the first version and it is a very good read...Personally, I really cant stand to read but I couldnt put the book down once I started reading it.

    A Century Ends...Lost Songs 95-98
    Flesh.................A New Day at Midnight
Sell, Sell, Sell.....Life In Slow Motion
    White Ladder......A Thousand Miles Behind
    The EPs 92-94

Thanks for that.  I got the first version posted through my letterbox today.  Like you, I couldn't put it down - I've read it all!!  Got some good insights without giving too much personal detail.  A recommended read

I have 'David Gray, A Biography' by Michael Heatley. I have had this book for a while, but, to my shame, haven't finished it yet. I am rubbish at reading, don't get me wrong, I can read lol, but find it difficult to concentrate when reading. I have still to read biographys/autobiographys on Jimmy White (my fave snooker player), Sheila Hancock (wife of John Thaw), Brenda Blethyn (my fave actress), and last but not least, my comedy hero, Ronnie Barker, I may have mentioned him a couple of times before lol. Every Christmas I ask Roy to buy me particular books, and every year he rolls his eyes knowing that they will just gather dust. Well I blame him, I keep asking him to read them to me lol. I will eventually get around to reading it, but I am just glad I have it and I will read it eventually :-)
Tomorrow girl I'll buy you chips, a lollipop to stain your lips :-)
