I dont know if this has been done before. Basically, state your perfect gray concert etc set list and seating/standing, maximum song limit of 20!!

    1. Alibi
    2. Aint No Love
    3. Shine
    4. Slow Motion
    5. Breathe
    6. Debauchery
    7. Lately
    8. From here you can almost see the sea
    9. Song to the siren cover
    10.Nos Da Cariad
    11.This Year's Love
    12.The One I Love
    13.Destroyer
    14.Its All Over
    15. Please Forgive me (for not including babylon...)
    16. Jackdaw
    17. World To Me
    18. Nightblindness
    19.Please Forgive me
    20. Other Side

I think it'd have to be standing, but ideally seated for the first half haha. Be interested to see what other people choose. I'd pay seriously good money to hear that lot played live.  Reading this Dave? haha

Very nice, i agree with the babylon comment.

Im beginning t othink 20 is too many, too few hard choices to make with 20 to play with! Nevermind :)

Hi rena, yep a bit of a story, seen dave open in 2002 with "other side",he started off with the melodious piano and then on the 2nd chorus the curtains came back to reveal a the band and a magical stage set up,lovely opener,a lot of the song on my list ive never seen him do live, well im only a fan bout 10 years and i have seen him 10 times but i missed out on the early stuff which can bring me to tears!Thought he was gonna go back to basics on the "bare bones" tour and bang out a few oldies!

hey if you get a chance i have a david gray band on bebo, check it out tell me what you think and maybe a few tips on how to improve it! http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=3953768949

I am crap at these - as soon as I post one another song will come to me Tongue Tied It would be unfair to miss any out for me!

The only guarantee is Please Forgive Me Stick out tongue as the final encore.

For a fun song Debauchery would be in it.

If a cover was added then Long Black Veil at the top for me.

Got to be a standing gig in an old small theatre. Leaning on the barrier near the piano!

So I can not contribute to this - I will just enjoy reading everyone elses.

    Keep smiling - It's free!

    Happy 2.000 posts Djk Party!!!

It's good to see you back at that number!

And davidgrayfan71, did you manage to see one of the Bare Bones gigs? They were truly amazing, weren't they? I think from your list I have seen all but three live, 'Magdalena', 'Faster Sooner Now' and 'Forever Is Tomorrow Is Today'. Although 'Coming Down' was only played half way through. I still wish to hear that one in full length.

I will check out your website later on.

And to get that thread back on track...

Well, it should be a small intimate venue. Preferrably standing. Near the piano, of course.

    As for the setlist.

My all time favourites, of course. As there are Nightblindness (a big surprise to everyone, I know), From Here You Can Always See The Sea, Lately, All The Love (I have never heard that one live, still hoping though) and Breathe.

Apart from that I'll be happy with everything David feels like playing because it's his enthusiasm that makes the whole experience so outstanding.
