Ya damn right bellboy,I am "down under" and are experiencing the same problems.At first I thought maybee "A Thousand Miles Behind" might not get released to Australia.I now have emailed everyone I can find on the site and a deafening silence is the reply.Am starting to think the site is a hoax. It took all of a few second for the money to dissapear from my account though. Three weeks later and still not even a order confirmation email, let alone a timeline for delivery.

Hi everyone,

I haven't gone into hiding. Since I am taking care of the board and have no access to the shop I have asked the people who actually are in charge to look into this. Someone will get back to you.

All that I can say is that everyone around me was satisfied with the service provided by the shop people. Enquieries were answered on the next working day. I can assure you this site is not a hoax.

I suppose something must have gone wrong along the way. Did you check your spam folder? Enclose your confirmation number and use the email address that is linked to your account and thus to your order? How about your firewall? Does it reject those emails maybe, a possible explanation if you are using an office computer. All this has happened before.

connchap: If your order went through and the fact that money was taken from your account indicates it did you should have received that confirmation email automaticall a minute after the purchase.

The fact that my $23 odd dollars US is missing from my account tells me nothing.

I have recived nothing,not even a confirmation Email for my money. All the Email fixes you suggest are automatic on my PC everytime I send a new Email . But I have checked anyway. Nothing!!!

After reading all the posts on this subject today, its plain that this album release has been a monumental stuff up!!

David  does not deserve this negativity.

How about someone there take the bull by the horns, admit the fault, and sort the problem??

As bellboy and many others have said,the "shop" is not replying . I will Email my details to the shop once again in anticipation of a reply.If a CD  does turn up ,the date must surely be 25Th of December.

Ordered A thousand miles at least 2 weeks ago, money taken from account, no sign of CD yet, no response from the shop to last 3 emails? Can anyone help please. Would have expected delivery by now, I've had a confirmation email saying the order was received.

I can imagine it must be frustrating to have made a purchase and not even receive a confirmation email. When I hear this though it tells me that an error has occured somewhere down the line because if your purchase did go through you should have at very least recieved a confirmation email. So let's see if we can't find out what has happened.

First off we can eliminate the possibility that you used the same email on the boards as you did to order the CD. I have checked both our email and reciepts with this information and found nothing. So if you could PM me with your details related to your purchase (full name, email, date of purchase, order#) then I will do what I can to help you out.

As an admin I have access to information no one else on the boards does so anyone with  a similar issue may find it helpful to PM me and I would be more than happy to help.

That's not an excuse bellboy. UK Post themselves said there may be up to a 3 week backlog. If you would like me to look into why you haven't gotten any emails from us I need you to PM me your details. I can't help you unless I have the information requested in the post above.

I had to check again because I didn't see any PM from you in my inbox. It looks like you actually sent me an email and it was not a recognized address. Sorry bout that. In future, use a PM, I get to those much quicker. The easiest way to send a PM to someone is to click contact on one of their posts and select Send This user a Private Message.

In any case I have found your reciept but was unable to find any emails from you to shop@davidgray.com. Not sure why that is, you're not the only one who has told me this so I will have to see why that is. Do you need me to send you a copy of the reciept?

There are others in your area who are also without their orders. As many here have explained, the Mail strike has affected a lot of people with this as they are not necissarily going through their backlog first.

I'm sorry that you seem to be one of the impacted ones. Hopefully the mail will be cleared up soon and everyone will have recieved their orders within the next week
