  • How to insert quote boxes into your posts 700458

    Hi everybody,

    I was asked to explain how to insert quote boxes into posts.

    The easiest way to do it is by simply clicking on the quote button instead of the reply button. You can edit that quote , i.e. take out parts that are of no revelance to what you are about to post about. What is important  here  is  that  you  do  not touch the lines below and above those that have  the [ quote] or  [ /quote] because this would unable the box function.

    I think it goes without saying that the text quoted should not be altered. 

    There is a second way of inserting boxes that comes in handy when you want to quote other things that weren't posted on here. Like song lyrics, interviews, etc. You just need to write your text, highlight it and then click on the    button in the toolbox above.

    Well, usually in programmes like word for windows this will just move your text a bit to the right. Somehow it creates a box on here though. I think it's a nice feature.
