Hi guys, first of all, please forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong part of the forum haha

Wanted some fellow DG fans to give my cover of 'Shine' a spin and let me know what they think :-) I was lucky enough to meet David in 2010 in Liverpool after his O2 Academy show, top bloke :-) He's a massive inspiration and I had to give a little nod to him in the form of this cover :-)

Its nice to see songs being carried by others.. I often hear of people giving discouragement to covers, but i believe this to be nonsense; its all about the story of how the song develops and affects other people - and you definitely portrayed this in your version. 

That Liverpool gig was great; my first time hearing Dig A Pony - what a laugh that was xD

(PS: I like the vocal arrangement especially!)

Your photo with David is awesome!! Was that taken after the Liverpool gig?? If it was we would have been standing next to each other waiting for him to come out hahahaha

 Made up you like my version of 'Shine', thanks very much :-)  David's version of Dig A Pony was amazing!! I remember that band downstairs playing during 'This Years Love' aswell, hillarious!!  Definately one of the best DG gigs I've ever seen :-)

Yes I remember we all ripped into that other band whilst waiting for DG; they were expecting fans wanting autographs but we weren't waiting for them haha! Great gig
