Does anyone know if the "Live at the Roundhouse" session is available on DVD? I have found a few recordings on youtube but would love to see and listen to the whole session in one piece.

When listening to these live versions of some of his greatest songs for the first time (and still) I touched me in a completely new way, which is one of the things I absolutely love about his music - it has got so much depth and substanse and it will continue to reach your soul, body and mind every single time you press play, sit back, close your eyes and let the music take over - priceless.

    Hi there,

I agree with all you say.  Would love love to see these sessions in all their glory.  Nightblindness is a cracker.  Hoping someone out there has these recordings.

    Hi Kristian and Lou,

in November 2007 David played three consecutive nights at the Roundhouse of which the third night was actually filmed by a professional crew. Unfortunately that material never surfaced anywhere.

The audio made it onto a bonus disk that was released with the Draw The Line Deluxe Edition  though. There is a lovely recording of Nightblindness included and many more great renditions of some of his other songs.

    Hi Rena,

I have the deluxe CD from DTL and that's when I fell in love with Nightblindness all over again. I love how he goes off on a journey at the end of the song.  I actually can't listen to any other version of the song. Amazing.  Searched youtube for visuals of these songs but no joy.  Would absolutely love to see them one day.

    Cheers

    L

A great find Marcel!!! Thank you!

DJK and I have been waiting for years for this material to surface eventually. Let's hope this is going to be released in the near future.

Speaking of DJK, here is a screenshot from the short teaser video showing him smiling at first row...

Djk was the sweetest man you could ever wish to meet. He is sadly missed.

This will be great if we get this live dvd, we'll sure get to see lots more of him.

Thanks Marcel for finding and sharing this, fingers crossed.

    That Everytime performance was grrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaatttttttt.

But the chances of seeing this (old) gig released is about the same as hearing Gathering Dust at a David Gray gig!

Hello everybody, I just heard all of the Roundhouse songs on Spotify, just joined and started a David Gray channel.  I had never heard these renditions before.  The quality of the recording is unbelievable.  All my "receptors" were in heightened mode I guess, cause I think I went into an altered state of consciousness!!!  I can't even explain ............how I appreciate this man's talent.  This will keep me going until his new stuff comes out.........
