Hello, hopefully there will be an area to meet David. Security seemed rather strict back in 2002 when I went to the Dodge Theater to see Gordon Lightfoot, but perhaps they've eased up since then. I hope I do get to meet David, since I have questions about the way he plays piano and also guitar.

I think if there's a meet & greet it will be one of things where you have to know someone to get in or win it on the radio (which from what I can tell none of the radio stations in the PHX area have anything going on for this show).  David usually meets & greets fans outside before boarding the bus to leave, but since this is such a large venue I don't think there will be access. You can count on me being out there to try though!

 DCA said I should say "hey" to you since we are both in the Phoenix area and BIG DG fans. I will be there next Wed. I'll be the guy weeping openly during Nemesis. :o) I have a contact at LiveNation so I'll see if there is anything going on for a meet and greet. I don't usually do them because I have so much I want to say and ask my favorite artists that it would be frustrating for me :o) 

Phoenix radio, IMHO, stinks - I've never even heard a DG song on the radio here. Maybe i've not found the right station yet. Been here most of my life though. One of my favorite stations is on Martha's Vineyard. So i often ask myself, why do I live here anyway? 

So, let me check with my contact and I'll post something later.

Hey "Smell Of It", ok that sounds kinda weird to say! maybe I could get your real name sometime...... Anyway, glad you contacted me! Where in the PHX area are you? I live in Tucson and will be driving up there on Wed. afternoon for the show.  I'm very excited!! Where are you sitting? I'm Section 4, row 6.

We have a station here in Tucson that plays DG but they are not giving away tickets or anything. That would be great if LiveNation has something going on. Let me know! Maybe we could make arrangements to meet up at the show.... I don't actually know any other Big DG fans other than on this site!

Hey Kim, 

nice to 'meet' you. Haha yeah I know that sounds a bit strange out of context. It's a long story and that song, phew, nuff said. 

I am in section 204 row 10, not great but hey I'm there! I live north of Phoenix in the foothills of Tonto Natl Forest. Rural area, lots of space, clean air, water and quiet. Except for my bad singing and my stereo with DG pumping. :o) 

That'd be great if we could meet up. Not sure how or where to do that, never been to the Dodge before but I hear it's a good venue. Ideas?

Hi Kevin,

I am going to meet a friend of mine for an early dinner before the show and I might miss the very first opener, but perhaps we can meet somewhere inside before Ray's show starts. Let me do some research on the internet about the Dodge, since I've never been there either, and find out if they have a bar area or something and we can plan to meet and chat there. I'll get back to you.

Dodge is a somewhat big place, buses are always on the Northwest corner of the arena. If you plan to park over there you may have a chance to meet him. It isn't the hardest security so I am sure if he is feeling good he will stop for some pics. Hope this helps.

 Haven't heard of any sound check stuff or meets here in Phx, would be nice to meet him though and say thanks for all the great music!

Hey Kevin, there doesn't appear to be a lounge type area in the Dodge lobby but we could pick a time to meet in the lobby anyway to say Hi. I will be hangin' out on the NW corner by the buses after the show and your welcome to come along if you'd like!

 sorry for the delay. Haven't heard back from my contact about a meet and greet, or anything else for that matter. She just hasn't responded. Don't know if she's on vacation or what.
