David Gray

Hi everyone! I am a huge fan of David Gray and am looking forward to seeing him live for the first time in Providence, RI on April 3. However, when I tell people what concert tickets I got, they ask, "Who's David Gray?" It's sad that not more people have heard his music. I was captivated the first time I heard him sing.

Hey Tom. Most of us have heard the "Who's David Gray?" remark. The nurse at my doctor's office ask just a few weeks ago because I was wearing a shirt with DG on it. I promptly played my "This Year's Love" ringtone and she loved it. No surprise there. Glad you are going to get to see him live. Nothing in the world like it.

Don't listen to just half of the story...Get the details before you form your opinion.

I'd say my favorite songs are "Please Forgive Me", "Alibi", and "Folk Song." However, I have yet to find a song that I truly dislike, which is truly unique for David Gray. I can usually find at least 1 or 2 songs of any artist that I can not stand but not with DG.

I second what has been said before - he will blow you away. It's as simple as that.

A nice story on the David Who? issue that we all have experienced. A new employee at one of my clients who - of course - claimed not to know him came out of the weekend all excited. She took the effort to check him out on iTunes by listening to the 30 seconds clips they offer for free of the Greatest Hits album - and she was totally surprised to find out she actually knew most of them. "But that guy is on the radio all the time" she said.
