    Thanks for those nice pictures DCA. They bring back the memory of the trip to Lucerne two years after yours. I am still grateful you urged us to make the trip to Mount Pilatus. What a view.

    I have got a new toy. A blackberry of the newest generation. This revolutionaries the way of taking pictures. It takes a turn away from the carefully composed ones to the spontaneous surprises ones.

    Here are a few of mine taken recently. Please excuse the technical shortcomings, after all they were taken with a phone...

    a certain hotel at the centre of my home town

    a famous tv tower just around the corner of the first pic...

     

    a long forgotten item on a lively corner right in the capital's city centre.

    what an anachronism...

    the river at night, with both prominent features from above...

    the city's main street at night...

    and last but not least the so called Palace Of Tears. You can spot the Brecht Theatre at the back of the right hand corner...

    Yes using the blackberry will give a different style to the pics - very nice ones too - I remember some of those as well during a great few days in your city.

    We met fun bartenders

    And A Cute Scottish Scremo/Techno Band LOL!

    And Gave Them Our Autographs. Somehow we had a following by the end of the trip =)

    And With All That Fun I Needed Some Rest

    That peacock lives at the Hotel Nacional in Havana Cuba, they roam around the yards out back. Thanks!
