plain and simple, David, the music is emotional, intellectual, lyrically superb, all round touching, provoking, stirring, on all levels - a genuine masterpiece. thank you for all your work.

    David Gray prompts Asbo
(Monday May 08, 2006 10:34 AM)A man has been given an Asbo and told he cannot listen to music at home until 2009, after upsetting neighbours by playing David Gray records too loud.Mark Burt, from Newport, Isle Of Wight, is reported to have been sentenced by magistrates last week.He was given the anti-social behaviour order after being found guilty of listening to Gray's "White Ladder" album at high volume in the early hours.Burt, who compared the confiscation of his music collection to the loss of a baby, is now banned from using stereo equipment capable of playing vinyl, CDs or MP3s until 2009.Alongside the Asbo, Burt was given an 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £150 in costs.

Dear Webmaster,I would like to know if there is a mailing address for David Gray.I have a dear friend Arthur Roraff turning 40 in early September, and he is certainly David's BIGGEST fan here in Alaska. When we asked him what he wanted if he could have anything for his birthday he said he wanted to go to a David Gray concert. As we are not able to get to England...I basically want to beg and plead that David might be willing to A. Sing happy birthday on a tape for him (I'll send a recorder) B. Phone him and sing Happy Birthday (I will gladly pay for it via phone card!) C. Send a card with birthday wishes...(I can even send that)You know I just want to give him a mind blowing 40th birthday- it's a big day...and he recently broke up with a long term girlfriend. So, I know it is a crazy long shot, and David is a busy guy- but he seriously has the opportunity to be the genesis for Arthur to have the most memorable birthday ever, and a permanent place to stay in Alaska always ") Arthur needs a little sunshine.Oh please do help me! People told me this is pretty impossible, but certainly there must be some way?! I would be grateful for any help!

You should try sending a PM to the moderator, but I doubt they will be able to help you.
Maybe post in the general section and ask if someone who is going to a concert will try and get him to sign something for you.
Or do some work on google and try to find the name of his management company and write them.
    Good luck.

BrendanLee- so cool to read about a local. I live in Mountville, outside of Lancaster. I was at the Tower on 10-9-05, and have downloaded a CD from that concert @ archive.com. I also went to the Tweeter Center in Camden on 1-28-03 and downloaded that as well. Check it out- you may hear yourself screaming on the recording. Great stuff! Looking forward to more posts from you.
Remember- your soul is the one thing you can't compromise
