I am so sick of winter. Not just sick of winter. I'm sick of being sick. This past week has been awful. To top it all off, according to the news, this is the third snowiest winter on record. I really can't wait for the sun to shine and the flowers to bloom. Until then, I'll self medicate and watch it snow (yet again). I really can't wait til March. And it's not just because I get to see DG in March. I HATE WINTER!!!

I prefer summer to winter too. We have had sun all week and temps are rising each day.  We will probably get one more storm but in general it has been an easier winter than most.

Winter is back

Can´t believe it. I woke up this morning and my place is covered with snow again. I love snow and winter but now it´s really time for the spring. I want to use my bike again and prepare my balcony for the spring and summer time. 

 

 

 

 

I can assure you it will get warmer next week - we take delivery of a second hand land rover on Tuesday - for the first time in 23 years we were snowed in/iced in for a total of four weeks - never happened in the 23 years that we have ben living here. Even saloon type 4 X 4's couldn't make the hills here. The only vehicles that could get around without sliding backward were the land rovers.

Freezing cold. I use my bike but i have to be very carefully. There is still glaze on some streets. Hope it´s getting warmer at the weekend.

  We actully had snow flurries yesterday morning, but nothing more, I hope thats the

end of winter for us. Springtime buds are showing.
