went to the leper village on moloki... the place was amazing so beautiful and they still have a few lepers that live there and they are so friendly. What an amzing story they have to share being forced to live on this part of the island,not being able to leave and living with leperasy. I was very moved by them.

it felt good after the icy cold pictures of Berlin. But I must say Rena, I

love the one in the park, I would love to visit there one day. Seems

strange to say, but I miss the snow,  a little  :-)

I miss the snow a bit to Eileen we haven't had any good snow this year. We'll have to take the kiddos to mount rainier to play in the snow if it doesn't come to the low landsl I think a trip to the park near Rena sounds like a great idea!!!!Ha Ha just a quick little drive away right?

Nice pictures Kari. I especially like the one showing the lovely Hawaiian vegetation and the one with Mount Rainier. The later looks like the perfect setting for a good long hiking trip. You seem to get around, don't you?

Oh, and your pup's belly is totally irresistable. How cute is that.

Thanks Rena,I do try and take my son Gunnar to as many places as possible to hike and see the world. It's much better than veging out at the tv and video games and he enjoys it. And yes how can you not want to cuddle up with my little chopper and his big fat belly!!!

I think you mean sq77 blue but since you mention it and considering it is like 10 degrees out there (haven't even collected the paper yet lol)............thought I would share our summer to switzerland from a couple years ago - the entire trip was structured around seeing david and damien rice at the blue balls festival in luzern lol!!

after landing in zurich we hightailed it to montreux to see van the man at the jazz festival.......view from our balcony....
