I had problems using a debit card for livenation.com transactions before, but my order (for a different artist) went right through once I switched to using my credit card.  Something with the computer system perhaps.

This time around I had to keep re-trying for a bit over 25 minutes, but it eventually worked.  This stuff happens with all ticket sales.  But compared to other fan sites, this site has way more tickets available for presale on a regular basis, and at far better prices.

Sorry it didn't work out for you though.   I've been shut out here before.  It's not fun, but it's not personal either.

This is the third time I have used this site for presale and so far this was the worst experience I have had. I could not get tix until about 11:26am. Right at 11am my first message was that I had exceeded the number of items I could purchase and then the same "The following items are currently reserved by other customers, please try again in a few minutes" message for 26 min.  I just kept frantically clicking the mouse until I had success.

No doubt some brokers/scalpers have figured out how to get in and get the "good" seats quicker than your average fan. It's a shame but at least this outlet provides a better chance then going the Ticketmaster route.

    Mubby:

I guess DG says it best in my favorite song  - I'm raising up my voice - to walls and to the sky - It seeks no explanation - It waits for no reply - Really it is nothing - just a cry to the wilds -       name that tune ?

    Only the Lonely !

I used my Visa Debt card without any rejection, but ended up with only one ticket for NYC when the cart said I had 2 ... so the site was definitely doing weird things as the system got overloaded. Sorry for those who didn't have any success at all today, and hope things go better in the general sale...

I second everything SaintsFan has said.

And Mubby - please let us know how things went for you in the general sale. Fingers crossed!

I have merged the various threads about presale issues.

Sorry to all those who haven't got tickets in the presale and all the luck in the general sale.

Tbjensen, I feel your pain and am sorry to hear you went through this, as many of you did too. There really ought to be some laws passed against hacking those ticket selling sites. Resellers are some of the lowest forms of human cockroaches crawling the net, they are lazy greedy thieves who think nothing of robbing a) the artist (who really should be getting full proceeds for their hard work) and robbing the fans too. I had to buy from resellers on many occasions in the past and it was quite a moral dilemma to contribute to their success but my only alternative was to skip an entire tour which was out of the question.

It really is inadmissible that a front row ticket can be sold for $60 by a reasonable artist who decides to cut his profit margin way back then some lazy good for nothing hacks a ticket selling sites and ends up selling that same ticket for $250. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...... Angry

I was not able to get tickets and I started right at 11:00 as stated for the Beacon Theater. I'm sooooo upset!!! Is there a problem or did they sell out in the first minute? This is so upsetting! I can not miss this show.

    Welcome to the site Lisa13,

the general sale on ticketmaster will start tomorrow morning. So good luck for that!

The high demand for tickets was a bit hard on the servers yesterday so the system got slow. For the future presales - just keep trying until the sold out sign comes up.

Thanks Rena but I did keep trying!! Atleast three dozen times. I'll probably end up paying some ridiculous amount from Stud Hub. I am sooooo sad!
