I am with you Dave on the venues. The MN state theater is great and have seen him there before. Was just hoping we could get good seats for once. I only say this site sucks because I can never get a pre-sale ticket. I do enjoy the site.

Totally feel your "GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"..... StubHub is selling tickets for $350 (starting)...

I see the NY Show is internet presale tomorrow, thursday at ticketmaster...and then general sales go on sale on friday....everyone should check tomorrow ticketmaster...for the "internet" presale.  not sure if its passcoded or what...

I too had issues with Chicago.  I had two tickets in my cart but when I did the checkout I wound up with only one.  This was after trying for 45 minutes.  Oh well.  At least I got one.  I will be coming from Florida to see him. His shows are always awesome.

 

Why if you only take credit cards and not debit cards would you not let us know  ??

All I can figure is I got shot down for tickets because my Visa was a debit card and not a credit card. That really sucks . Is this true ?  Anyone ??

It is 2011 . You would think everyone excepts debit cards.  

I have used my debit card for every dg.com purchase I have made........

I have read about the issues you have had on the other thread. Of course you must be disappointed.

During a presale the site's servers get quite overloaded so some technical glitches happen. Cards not being accepted are one of those, others lose the content of their shopping cart in the process, the list is long. Other major artist's websites regulary go down completely for hours during presales, Robbie Williams is a well known example.

Since you stated to have made purchases with your card before this kind of card seems to get accepted. Otherwise  the shop would not offer the option.

Hopefully you will be able to find good tickets in the general sale on Friday.

Thank you Rena . I hate to be such a cry baby about it. I am just really bummed out that both my wife and I got shot down. I do understand that things don't work perfect on any site. I would sit outside the venue to listen to DG if I had to.

I will get over it .Hopefully on Friday I can get some decent seats on the main floor.

Tickets for the pit in Chicago are already up on StubHub for $525.ea.  Soooooo disappointing.  Anyone know if they will post "sold-out" once they actually are?  Any point in continuing to try?

 

 

I wonder if the DG website can do anything about brokers selling presale tickets....reclaiming them & reissuing them.  Here in Milwaukee, the Pabst & Riverside Theatres have a strict reselling/scalping policy & they even offer a lot of tickets within the last week of popular shows that were found being sold over face value. i wish ALL venues operated like this and got rid of the greedy bast..ds!  ITS A CONCERT for cryin out loud! still venting... lol 

same here with the chicago gig.  I have successfully bought pre sale tickets in the past for other DG shows but was unable to get anything this time.  extremely disappointing, but what can ya do i guess

I logged in by 9:30am and sat in front of my computer for a half of an hour.  At 10am exactly I starting trying to get tickets for the Minneapolis concert.  I aimed for main floor seats (2) instead of the pit.  I finally got through at 10:23am and received my confirmation email by 10:26am.  Sounds like I may have been one of the lucky ones!  It just says Main Floor Row's A-L.   Is there no assigned seating at the State Theater?
