Great pics Marcel well done Yes

I strted on the vids last night and have got Wont Get Fooled up. The camera does not cope with the sound well.

You see him near the start jump off the stage onto a box right in front of us.

    The video is here.

Hope the sound quality does not spoil the enjoyment of Dave's performance.

    Keep smiling - It's free!

Thanks all for your nice reviews and pics! Indeed it was a brilliant concert in Dublin and I'm happy I was there too. I was so excited and stunned by their performance of this The Who classic that i forgot to take any pic or a video. So thx Djk for this video.

    What a night!

    Next stop Oslo!

P.S. It was great to share this with some nice grayheads as they are DJK (thx), Rena, Marcel, Sarah, Elysium, Wildhope and Littlenoise :-)

    Hi Folks

Amazing reviews from you all. As I was not feeling too well on the night of the gig, I will not attempt a review mini or extensive! I have had too much of a mad rush around EIRE and England, for my memory to do DGs final gig in the UK any justice. In fact, I am only just settling back to some semblance of normality. God only knows how DG, his band and crew cope!

Although I may not have articulated on the night, how much I enjoyed the show at The Point - believe me, it has been catalogued by my brain, with reunions of dear friends from Dublin, so it will always be an ultra special memory for me.

It was good to meet a few other DG fans and users of the website, for drinks in your hotel lobby - apologies for my almost comotose presence!! Shall attempt to stay off the "black nectar" next time. May in time post my pics and videos of the night, after edits - not sure if my camera was able to provide a good picture or reasonable sound, despite being 3rd row from the front. The moral there is to get to gigs before the doors open! Congratulations to DjK for his 60th show and a personal mention from your hero. Here's a thought - would you get a restraining order after your 100th or does the count go back to 0 in the New Year? Only joking - you know I am just jealous!

Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year to you all - especially those who I have met in person. Oh and that goes to DG and his family too.

If I lost you - I don't know what I'd do: burnt forever where the flame turns blue - Flame turns blue - DG

I am only getting around to posting about the gig in the Point on the 19th of December. I have to say it was a fantastic show. I think it was my 7th time to see david and he just gets better and better. I also brought my 6 year old son with me that night. I was debating whether to bring him for a good while but in the end i decided that he should come with me. He has been a fan of david since before he was born! When i was pregnant with him myself and my partner used to play a new day at midnight all the time and he would kick like mad to the music. And after he was born if he was unsettled i would put on the album and he would just lie there listening to it! Once he got a bit older i used to find him upstairs with a dvd of David on and he used to be trying to copy him Big Smile I thought he would be afraid of the crowds in the point that night but he was just totally in awe of david and he was singing along to the songs he knew. I was hoping people didnt think i had brainwashed him or anything in to liking the music! Now he is lookiong forward to his next David gray gig! Thanks David for a fantastic night!! Wishing you all a very happy 2010!
