Had a great sunset coming out of my window last night so I rushed out to Kit Hill which overlooks Callington but missed it

Took some not very inspiring pics while I was there anyway.

Quite pleased with this one as it was almost dark.

Well I went to the place above earlier this eve to try again to get the sunset

 got close to a few friends

The sky was glowing red but again it changed so quick but the sunset looked like this

and behind me something was rising!

 

well it is nearly tomorrow

going to take my new car for its longest run so far to work.

I think I mentioned an unusual cloud at the weekend in a sunset - and here it is....

 from my flat window - it was more interesting than the tv at the time lol it was changing so quickly!

That's a form of Chimonanthus praecox also known as Japanese allspice or wintersweet. It was a nice surprise to be found on the walk.

Here I am trying to get some recognition with arty photographs. And today I received an email telling me that my first picture is going to be published. No money involved but all the honours. Funny thing is that it's not arty at all but a rather blunt one going to be featured in a city guide of Hamburg. If this isn't funny...
