"Cars they sound like waves that are breaking / On some distant shore / I gazed so hard into the great aching sky / It seemed that I wasn’t here no more"

It still took me a while to think of that one, though.

    Here's an easy one:

"Cars they sound like waves that are breaking / On some distant shore / I gazed so hard into the great aching sky / It seemed that I wasn’t here no more"

I used that one before... this is a different bird.  Smile

It does have wings, so "Birds Without Wings" is incorrect.  This bird is very recent.

"Cars they sound like waves that are breaking / On some distant shore / I gazed so hard into the great aching sky / It seemed that I wasn’t here no more"

    Even more recent than that...

"Cars they sound like waves that are breaking / On some distant shore / I gazed so hard into the great aching sky / It seemed that I wasn’t here no more"

Right you are!  It didn't occur to me until later that while I see jackdaws all the time here in Scotland, I don't believe they live in America.  Raven was close, though, since they're closely related.  Smile
