I know this is probably not his favourite fim, but David was asked " what was the last film you saw and what did you think of it " and this was his relpy; I think it was Anvil actually, the documentary, I thought it was brilliant! It made me cry, I thought it was a really heart-warming story so I loved it a lot. It was in the Spinal Tap kind of role but it was very moving to see them put their necks on the line and then it all come good at the end. Oh and I loved the fact that he said it made him cry.

It's Sunday, so I'll add that he loves a good Sunday roast beef with potatoes, carrots, and parsnips. Also, he loves his sunglasses. Raybans?? Have a good Sunday everyone.

Ha! Well... I didn't expect that to be censored, but you get the idea.

i am really disappointed that none of you has thought of daves most wanted faves which are his three ladies - for sure!!! Further i remember him telling about pasta and red wine. And about the us / europe discussion theres to say: some people who live in that big country over the pond may not have recognized that europe is not only the uk. So for us over here a dg concert means sometimes an eight or more hours drive too. Not meant bad but sometimes it is helpful to use ones brain before writing...

I assume this was directed at me, and I make very good use of my brain, thank you! For what it's worth, I've travelled extensively in Europe and, yes, even driven from Rome to Paris, Paris to Amsterdam, Venice to Munich, etc., etc. I'm very familiar with its size. My post was meant to add an additional dimension to the others' points about the number of fans/more tickets to sell in the U.S. vs. Europe. With more fans to reach across a wider area, it logically means a higher number of visits. I used the example of the U.K to point out that for another country with a large fanbase, it would hardly seem like a real tour to do only two shows, but that is the equivalent of what has been covered in the last several American tours. Though it seems like the U.S. keeps getting visited over and over, it has not the same areas. To give a wider example, if you wish, to someone on the West Coast, it'd be like someone in Slovakia being satisfied with a tour that stopped in the Netherlands.

no need to get nasty birdie ryan pointed out olivia on page one.....I personally don't bring up the girls because DG keeps them very private as I have said before I simply think DG loves america and its culture - again his snaps and comments demonstrate that

No dca, I am absolutely not nasty. But it is clear, that europe is in terms of touring neglected by David. And not just all the countries far and wide, but even England is left out most times. And @ ropreston: don't take too serious what I've been writing - it was just on my smartphone in my lunch break, but sometimes it just makes me upset that many americans think of such a small europe and cannot even imagine the distances we have to go across for something we would like to do. Oh, nearly forgot... @dca: what do you mean.......... american culture......? Love, Birdie

I can't remember where I got this, but back in the day, the band did a cheese and wine tasting on the tour bus. I think they went on these little quests to find specific wines and cheeses. Speaking of food experiences, my friend told me Zac Brown's Chef Rusty is really great, and he does a chocolate-peanut butter bread pudding that is delicious. Have fun Southern Grounders!

while I am sure the pudding is fine not a fan of the way they distribute this festival............insiders get all the table seats then the brownies get all the rest of the vip now then again it is a festival with DG. edward sharpe and lumi's - but i can hear the best of all three at dedicated shows with all due respect not expecting much from this one..........and that said I am sure he will throw out a gem just to counter! we shall see!!
