My first post on this site, but I had to share my excitement with all of the true fans.  Plaza B, Row AA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!!! I have never been this excited for a concert in my life!

It can happen! I know a lot of us never thought it would, but it can. He's a very stand up guy that seems to enjoy his fans.

Lea, I would like advice on where to stay.  Should we stay in Kettering or Dayton/Downtown Dayton?  And which hotels would you recommend?  I'm excited about this one!!

Unfortunately, there are not many hotels near that area. It is actually in a largely residential area. Some of the best places to stay, that are relatively close by are listed below. 

Bard's Rest - It's a bed and breakfast in Oakwood, which is a cool, trendy area with lots of greenery.

Hey Vicki let's do the Marriott? I can check on rates on monday - it has a pool so the boys can at least do that

And just like others depending on head count we can just hire a car or van to shuttle us back and forth.....I can handle this lol!

I'm so excited you guys are coming!!!!!! The pool at the Marriott is really nice. I can also try to score some free Dayton Dragons (minor league baseball) tickets if you would like.

Excited as well - we will most likely do something at the Marriott as we will be leaving a few behind - but there will definitely be a gathering before hand

we are doing the hall of fame the day prior - our kids are the same age but haven't met - I just informed alex he has a new best friend :) - unfortunately the dragons are on the road that night

Been a looong time David Gray fan. Only been able to catch him once before, March 2010 in Cinci. Missed him as a open in 2000 for DMB and then again missed him in Cinci in 2001 because of the riots earlier in the month. My family didn't want me to go, i was 19 and the streets of cinci was still a little hostile. Now he is coming right down the road from me! So stoked, only a 4 minute drive lol. Going to be awesome.
