Cologne was chilling but the gig was well worth the trip.
There were posters announcing David's gig all over town. Very nice.
I went to the venue early so I would find the way back into town afterwards. I knew I would be hard to find a taxi.
When I arrived at the venue the soundcheck was in full flow and could be heard through the walls.
I think I may have heard some unknown notes but can't be sure as I could not understand any of the lyrics sung.

A great audience and a beautiful performance through and through. First Chance was a great opener I think. Lovely songs, beautifully performed followed. Sorry but somehow I cannot remember any details, that is just because there were two shows after that one, the show was amazing. As always.
It was great meeting you before the show Birdie. You were great company. 
So glad you managed to meet David afterwards. That is a lovely picture. Please post a larger version for us, will you? Annabel, were you the one in the bright or the one in the dark winter coat? Nice meeting you too!
Sorry I had to leave rather hastely but I had to walk back all the way into town which was rather scary, along the riverbank, under and over that bridge at night. I am glad you have all made it back home safely. Looking forward to seeing you again at the next Cologne show.
