I've always thought it's a 'live' show as there is no visible breaks in the prog'. Maybe it is all recorded 'live' .

    Rena,

Jools is indeed recorded in the UK, and the shows are usually made about two weeks before the broadcast I think...

    Take care !

    Marcel.

Mmmm. you are right Chris.... nothing about it....

Jools Holland introduces a diverse mix of new musical talent and established artists, including The Who, Common, Josh Ritter, Bela Fleck, Reverend and the Makers, Robert Wyatt and Stephanie Dosen.

Interesting bunch... but where is Dave ?

But when I look at december 7th.... however....

    Friday 07 December
    11:35pm - 12:35am
    BBC2

Jools Holland presents live music from established artists and new talent. David Gray plays songs from his Greatest Hits album. Another week, another album by the Coral: they perform tracks from their fifth album, 'Roots and Echoes'. Jools joins musical husband and wife Dame Cleo Laine And Sir John Dankworth at the piano. Also features Mali's ngoni master Bassekou Koyate, LA's Rilo Kiley and South London rockerbilly boy Jack Penate.

So ... My guess is that it will be next week....

    Take care !

    Marcel.

Marcel thanks a lot for this info!  Yes

    Hey Bluewater!

The writers' strike is still on but their is hope that the current negotiations will solve the "problem"! Huh?

"Writers Optimistic After "Substantive" Talks; Dec.6.

Both sides in the Hollywood writers strike expressed optimism that progress was being made in contract negotiations aimed at ending a five-week walkout.

The Writers Guild of America said Wednesday that talks with studios over the past two days were "substantive," but cautioned it had yet to get a response on proposals including residuals for movies and TV shows streamed online. Negotiations were to resume Thursday.

"For the last two days we have had substantive discussions of the issues important to writers, the first time this has occurred in this negotiation," the guild said in a statement. Among the issues: union jurisdiction over the Internet and reality TV."

    There are bad news:

Writers' Strike Week 5: At An Impasse

    AP   |  Lynn Elber   |   December 8, 2007 at 10:20 AM

A few days ago, hopes were high that a deal to end a costly five-week strike by thousands of Hollywood writers was imminent. But optimism that writers and producers would soon sign a new pact all but crumbled Friday, as talks broke down and the sides blamed each other for the stalled negotiations that have sidelined many prime-time and late-night TV shows.

"We're puzzled and disheartened by an ongoing WGA (Writers Guild of America) negotiating strategy that seems designed to delay or derail talks rather than facilitate an end to this strike," the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers said in a statement.
