I see what you mean Tony and completely agree on Fabchannel as I was one of their frequent visitors... great stuff !

Unfortunately Fabchannel is not there anymore, for a lot of reasons which include money, legal etc.

In a way I am glad this will be a paid thing, therefore they are being able to buy bandwidth and server capacity matching the demand. So hopefully this will be good.

Just to say: I agree that 5 bucks isn't "the world to me" ;-) but that should have been announced that way. Anyway, as I have no chance to see this as I am not in reach of a pc on both dates I hope this will be recorded in whatever way and be made public for puchase...

I feel very lucky to be there in Dublin to see the real thing but am hoping my plane will make it back in time to catch the replay too!

Looking forward to seeing David and the band (yes I'm still bitter).

Hope I get to hear Nemesis as this was missed fron the Gateshead show and always sounds amazing live.

Hope it does get released as a DVD, I'm ready for a new one. My Artists Den DVD is getting a bit worn out.

There are two things wrong with this live stream. First of all, all the announcements etc made no mention of payment being necessary. This is deliberately misleading. Having suffered poor streams in the past I am not about to waste any more money until someone gets the technology right. And that is not just at the gig end but that's at my end too.

Secondly the cost is (admittedly not high wherever you are) £5 in the UK, £4.46 in Europe, or £3.05 in the USA.  Does that seem fair? I don't think so.

As a veteran of over 30 DG gigs including three on the current tour I'm appalled by the way this has been handled. More about O2 marketing then DG I suspect but nevertheless it leaves a very sour taste.

Thanks for the advice Ak11 - it worked in a couple of seconds. Just going to ge the big fella's dinner and then it's 'my time.' All this on top of the Royal Festival Hall on Monday - too good to miss.
