Maybe this thread needs to be revisited. Certainly with all the talk of the up coming US summer tour and the mystery of how many shows and their locations. There will be those for what ever challenges they face in life, for one reason or another, will miss the chance to see the greatest live performer on this planet. Surely there would be opportunities to record a new live DVD at these US shows?

Like it has been said. The US summer shows will have no problem selling out no matter where David Gray performs. I feel that a new live DVD would do exactly the same - sell to the masses. Not all of us are in the position to contemplate wether we should go to a gig because it is possible. A new live DVD would give the rest of us a chance to experience David's latest shows. A DVD would not prevent me from going to a show either. In my case, as with the Life in Slow Motion tour, I would go to the show and then purchase the DVD as a souvenier. So how about it? A new live performance for the whole world to share the experience of what are just truly fantastic shows.

I really have no idea how close to that really happening that coulld be... I do know that at the show at UCLA there was a pro film crew. Also the following night at the San Diego show the same crew was set up and filming. I spoke with one of them after the LA show and was told they would love to put it together and sell it as a new dvd, or cd.  Lets keep watching for news about this. I know I'm going to be watching  :-)

This would be a perfect release for the dry season that will follow these tours.. years of nothing happening lol. Anyway, I'm more of a cd guy, but heyyy.. I'm up for anything.
