Watched it...loved it. Holding on just amazing. I have now heard this song 3 times live...twice with just the guitar and once with the piano...and I do love both versions, piano the best though. His voice was very rough, the man needs a break! But as always he gives it his all with a smirk and humor and is always wonderful to hear.

hahahahaha!!!!!! no I have not succumbed to that Sand Dog quack. Too funny. I am doing my own brand of therapy, thank you very much. I was going to mention taking a shot of whiskey just before singing but figured he already knew that. My singing teacher told me to take a shot right before I started singing for her to loosen up the chords. I was seventeen!!! hahahahaha!!!!!

It isn't the only thing that has helped me but I can't tell you how much David's music is helping me through this period. Yes a lot of it can set me back because of the reminders, but for the most part the feeling I get when I listen to this stuff, and now when I play it (after a 25 year hiatus!!), is remarkable. Can't stop my head from bobbing back and forth. I must've resembled Stevie Wonder on the plane Monday. Sunglasses, big smile, head weaving, fingers tapping hi hat and snare, and both feet kicking the hi hat and bass drum all the way home. The ride was over before I knew it.

    Peace of I

What a solid promotion, spell his name right at least. (BUT Holding On with the acoustic is fantastic!)

Thank you Michelle, those videos are great. Evenbetter than the live stream. Much appreciated!

And yes, David's last name is spelled Gray wink

Really like the guitar version of Holding On.  Sounds like he is right at the edge of his voice in the middle section of the song.  David leaves it all out there.  Gotta love that!
