Looks like the girls are taking the lead on this one, where are the renaissance men.  I know they are around here somewhere. I will name names soon if it takes that to get the guys on board.  And all the people who have been faithfully on here without posting, lets hear from you and all the new peeps who have said hi.  This is an open place where all are welcome.

I think the lovely Jewel will give us some ideas on a name, something original dedicated to the amazing folks who connect through this place. 

Lol Tina about the dd job, we'll hire taxis, not sure where they are picking us up or going to but who cares, as long as we are together, singing some DG song out of tune (been there, done that, a story for another time).  Perhaps you would like to create the bar list. Maybe you have some ideas on the types of photos that would be interesting to share of our celebrations.

And Kari, in addition to those neat venues. I think you should give us ladies beauty tips, particularly on the outfits to be worn to the soirees, you have given us all some great ideas (still lovin those outfits from Texas).

There seems to be a bit of a cheese theme through my DG travels, we love our cheese! I think there are a few cheese stories I am not in the loop on. There are several cheese experiences I have had, including the cheese fondue in Switzerland, the cheeseburgers in Buffalo and the pasties in UK with steak and stilton. So on that note, I think the following should also be on the menu:

I find the best pictures are the ones when people don't pose. They are honest and natural. This means I'll have to be sneaky. I can do that.

No ideas on a bar list. Hubby used to be a bartender and we usually drink at home. However I have found that the best places are made that way because of the people around you. Too me anywhere were there would be good music (this is a David Gray fan thing here so we can't go wrong there), good people (again can't go wrong), and good drinks (that's easy) would be the best place. 

And we can do cheese fondue!!!!!!

THE 50 GRAND DAVID GRAY JAM

This is a call for suggestions for a proper Naming of this stellar event.

We will require some of the real thing as well, David's Blackberry Jam.  (I hope that's correct.  Please forgive my ignorance if it is not.)

 I can offer some Blackberry Brandy as well.

Since we are all over the world we should set up a youtube account for all of us and get some vids of the celebration. Lots of people getting together online drinking listening to good music and broadcast it to the world. That way the world will be able to see what kind of people are DG fans. We are all kinds, all ages, all backgrounds. you name it and we will find someone who fits the bill.

Wait. for some of us (like me) it may not be a good idea to get drunk and listen to DG while videotaping it.....

Have to think on that again......

OK, BW, you've shamed me into replying. You have to realize, though, that whenever there is women and alcohol involved, guys will do anything. Count me in for an online/youtube celebration, but be warned, I might break out of my shell and do something almost silly.

LOL. Philly, just so you know, whenever there is alcohol involved and women, even the women do silly things. Just me I speak from experience and have my own file on the puter here to verify. But no person who was not here will ever see those files. Like I said, I may need to rethink that idea.....
