Sunday, November 25th Rufus Wainwright - Special Performance On TV In Holland!Rufus and his full band will be performing two songs live for VARA television's "Mooi ! Weer De Leeuw", a Dutch amusement show. The episode will be recorded and aired on VARA channel 1 on Sunday, November 25th at 9:20pm CET and will rerun on VARA Television channel 3 on Monday, November 26th at 9:25pm CET.
The show will also be available for online viewing.

Thankyou so much for this info. I will have to programme video as I am off to Spain for a long weekend with 3 girl friends (none of which are D G fans but am hoping that they will come back converted) even if I don't manage it, I will have great time trying. every c.d. plus book and video will be coming with me Wish me luck Maz L

PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth and The White Stripes et al in TV sessions ! Sky Arts Channel are to broadcast top live music sessions from 1st December. The programme, titled From The Basement, will feature live slots recorded by Nigel Godrich, of Radiohead fame. Acts lined up include Thom Yorke (also of Radiohead fame!), The White Stripes, Neil Hannon, PJ Harvey, and Super Furry Animals.
The full line up is:

Mmmm. you are right Chris.... nothing about it.... Jools Holland introduces a diverse mix of new musical talent and established artists, including The Who, Common, Josh Ritter, Bela Fleck, Reverend and the Makers, Robert Wyatt and Stephanie Dosen. Interesting bunch... but where is Dave ? But when I look at december 7th.... however.... Friday 07 December

BBC2 Jools Holland presents live music from established artists and new talent. David Gray plays songs from his Greatest Hits album. Another week, another album by the Coral: they perform tracks from their fifth album, 'Roots and Echoes'. Jools joins musical husband and wife Dame Cleo Laine And Sir John Dankworth at the piano. Also features Mali's ngoni master Bassekou Koyate, LA's Rilo Kiley and South London rockerbilly boy Jack Penate. So ... My guess is that it will be next week.... Take care ! Marcel.
